List of Touchstone Medical Imaging's Reviews
Parking too expensive and clients should be told first hand that parking tokens are not given for parking. This comment is for the Washington St Location. I was also told I had a copay of $125 and by accident found out that was a lie. I am now waiting for a refund. They never even attempted to use my insurance until they we're busted lying 🤥.
I am giving this four stars because I'm not sure if Yelp is asking me to review Baylor's imaging facilities on Gaston Road (4.5 stars) or Touchstone Imaging in Baylor's facility on Junius Road. (3 stars). I had two scans at Baylor itself in January. The staff there were professional, courteous and the second scan, which I expected to take all day they got me in and out earlier than I expected. They also made sure I was comfortable. Then I was able to see clear easy to understand results on Baylor's online portal.I had two more scans at Touchstone Imaging in February. I was nervous about going there because I have had mammograms at another Touchstone Imaging facility and they were terrible. I have to give the Baylor location more credit than the other one for treating me courteously. But Touchstone Imaging has no online portal. I've received limited written communication about the results of the mammograms in the past. (Not as much as my previous provider gave me.) But I have not even heard this much from Touchstone Baylor about these scans and it has been 26 days. For that and for throwing my N95 mask away after it fell off during my scan (and for the fact that masks are still 100 percent mandatory there) I can't give them more than three stars.
I went for an MRI. The person greeting me didn't smile or even look up for minutes. The paperwork asked me to acknowledge I had received a copy of the privacy statement. Well, it wasn't provided. I went back to her and she pointed to a hanging container on the other side of her desk where they were located. There was one man who couldn't seem to stay at his desk - he was standing behind the welcome person and asked for my drivers license and insurance. They kept them for quite a while. When my name was called to pay in advance (tacky) the strange man- back at what I assume was his desk pointed to the other person behind glass. The person I paid didn't even deign to swivel her chair around to look at me. The restrooms in the lobby area had broken locks. Good part: I'd specifically asked for female technicians and the request was fulfilled. They were excellent.
Surly, curt front desk and check in personnel. Broken locks on stalls in women’s restrooms. Technicians were great.
Everyone was nice and did a good job. Wasn’t brought in at the appointment time but not too long of a wait either. 24hr instructions were texted to me about 17 hours before the appointment. Those details need to be sent at least 24 hours in advance if not 48.
First let me say that I did not have an appointment. When I arrived Sabrina was so courteous, gave me a mask because I left mine in the car. When I dropped my cane to the floor she quickly offered to pick it up for me. Raye was my technician, she was so polite and quickly burned a CD of my xray when I requested it. They both seemed as though they had received customer service training. This was a very pleasant experience.
Efficient and personable MRI staff all around.
Quick and easy.
I have had multiple opportunities to use this imaging lab (3 or 4 times in the last 6 months). Each visit was the same. Fast, courteous, and efficient. 5 stars!
They sent me a text message saying my doctor ordered an exam and gave the number for me to call for an appointment. I have tried for two days to call and never get an answer. I’ve tried every option on their call router but all just ring and ring, even if I let it sit and ring 40 times. No answer. Not a message saying to call back later. Not a message that I could leave a voicemail. Not even a message offering to call back. Nothing. Crickets. It’s incredibly unprofessional and makes me wonder if their medical skills match their organizational skills. If so, we’re all in trouble.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
