Dr. Thomas Ford and Dr. Ibrahim were absolutely amazing. First time coming to this hospital and they did not stop until they found an answer to my husbands problems that he has been dealing with for 4 years. The nurses and staff were so kind and reassuring that we were at the right place. I can not thank Dr. Ford enough for his kindness and determination to help us!!

If the ER staff treats their patients as rudely as they treated our family and concerned friends when we called to inquire about their condition at the Harry Hines location,you might consider moving them elsewhere asap.I had thought it might have been an isolated incident until speaking to others who had also experienced their lack of professionalism .Only because it was the nearest place was he brought there...never again.

My spouse is battling a very hard diagnosis. His team are amazingly trying to help. He had brain surgery and he seems to be functioning well. Dr. Patel is an amazing, skilled surgeon. The doctors, nurses all seem concerned. Dr. Patel’s sister another neurosurgeon also stopped by and was very compassionate. The facility is very well designed. We come from Odessa for care. He would have not made it this long in Odessa. It’s a shame that all Americans can’t have access to this type of caring environment.

Prior to our recent encounters with our mother’s cardiologist, we sang the praises of UTSW. We have been so very grateful for the care and competence of the UTSW healthcare and ancillary teams - from valet to the physicians handling her care. Unfortunately, her cardiologist, Neena Passi, has changed our opinion of her - not UTSW. And she is the sole reason for this one-star rating. A few weeks ago our mother visited Dr. Passi and complained of swelling and pain in one of her legs. Passi simply told her to elevate it. Shortly, thereafter, my mother presented to the hospital for a different issue only to discover that SHE HAD A BLOOD CLOT IN THAT VERY LEG. What’s more concerning is our most recent interactions and visit. Last week our mother complained of pain in both legs. We requested a doppler of both legs bc blood clots can prove fatal. Dr Passi DENIED the request saying there was no indication for a bilateral doppler and we would only do the one leg. Only after explaining to her nurse that there was indeed a blood clot after Dr Passi dismissed my mother’s complaint as poor circulation. After Passi received messages in her in the portal did she relent and order the bilateral doppler. When my mother visited with her today (6/22/2026), Dr. Passi entered the room with an unnamed ?resident/student/etc. She neither introduced him, requested permission for him to sit in on the visit. nor did she look at my mother and sister. She was quite callous in her questions starting with “why are you here today?” [The appt was scheduled when we checked out the last time.] bMy mother explained the pain she was experiencing and where on the other leg it was painful. My mother also showed her that her ankle was swollen. Dr Passi agreed but did not touch her ankle or examine the leg for anything as simple as pitting. In fact, she never left her computer chair. We do not know what caused this change in her. We overlooked her behavior on other occasions but the experience in today’s visit was too much. We aren’t so much concerned with her bedside manner at this point. We are concerned with the disregard for our mother’s healrh. We are changing cardiologists to another UTSW physician and hope this review is instruction for Neena Passi.

I have received nothing but top-level support from the doctor and nurses. They truly seem to care about their patients. After each visit, I even received calls on weekends and holidays to check on me, which meant a lot. I drive all the way from the Texarkana area to Dallas for their care, and it is absolutely worth it.

This hospital is awful! Every time I have tried to book an appointment with doctor here the only dates they have is 6 months to year out to see a doctor! They will also reschedule your appointment without your permission! This hospital needs to learn from Houston Methodist and MD Anderson on how to operate and prioritize patients! Or hire more doctors to take care patients! This hospital should not be world renowned for what they don’t have time to even help patients!

Went here for a family member's persistent high fever. Knowing UTSW would bring access to a breadth and depth of medical expertise was important to me and ultimately made a big difference in getting the correct diagnosis and treatment that led to recovery. Getting access to top-tier experts across a wide range of fields was critical when dealing with an illness with an unknown origin. I was thoroughly impressed with the level and quality of care received and would choose UTSW again without hesitation.

Great place to get help and don't have to go to Parkland. A better experience.
