List of Warren R Fagadau's Reviews
I've been seeing Dr. Fagadau for over twenty years and he kept an eye on my cataracts. Finally last January he said it was time to take them seriously. He discussed the many, and confusing, options carefully and multiple times. I was very nervous about it. I ended up with both eyes operated with the light adjusting lens and I couldn't be happier. I am without glasses for the first time in 40 years. What's important is that I've had multliple follow-up visits as part of the surgical procecure and Dr. Fagadau and his staff have been incredibly kind, competent and available. I had a concern about one eye and he answered me on a Saturday night. I also went and saw two other ophthalmolgists as I made the choice about who would do the surgery, and I consulted a world-famous ophthalmologist from Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Experience counts and Dr. Fagadau really delivered.
Still sitting on office on hour 3. Don’t know why I come here, this time torture gets worse not better. I’m done.. finding another eye doctor. Not worth it!!
I would highly recommend avoiding this practice. First of all, I received a call one week out from my appointment saying that my doctor had cancelled. Once I was rescheduled and arrived for my appointment, I had multiple nurses coming into my exam room during my annual eye exam asking questions and were confused with who was supposed to go where. I discussed my eye problems with almost three nurses across my ~30 minute appointment. Last but definitely not least, Dr. Hawk came in, and as I highlighted my issues, he said that he had "never heard of that sh*t" before. Well, that was a first from a licensed medical professional. Afterwards, due to an insurance miscommunication, the billing team charged me a massive amount for my appointment and provided no flexibility on payment. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with Lisa from billing and she was rude throughout almost every conversation. Would highly highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I mean look at the rest of these reviews, this place should be ashamed of the way they do business in the Dallas area.
Dr Fagadau’s office seems to be a medical churn machine where they just trying to make as much money as possible. To me they were deceptive in what they said you would have to pay and they refused to be my insurance even though he was allegedly in network. I? was fully covered but paid over $3500 for cataract surgery and they refused to pay back money that my insurance said I? didn’t owe!!! Don’t go to him. I? would give him a negative star rating if I? could.
I have gone to Dr. Fagadau for years he is through and careful. He has helped me with many issues over the years. He is busy and there are different professional that get one through the process of appointments and test. I am very satisfied.
Fagadau is a very good doctor and a very good person. It really should be a four or five star review. However, if you book an appointment with him be sure to bring water...and a snack...a good book...and maybe a blanket. His staff is mostly very good to excellent, though a few can be snarky or even rude -- most probably reacting to you; but then they don't know you've been waiting for three to four hours for 15 minutes with the doctor. I've been going to him for years and it's just getting worse. I'm looking for a new doctor now due to the lack of respect for his client's time. Can't take it anymore.
It was a living nightmare. I went in because of some blurring. He had his assistant give me the eye tests. She had to tell me to blink 4 and 5 times before I could make out many letters on the chart. I found out later that this meant I had severe dry eye. There was a dry eye specialist right there in his office but did he send me to her? NO!!!! Instead he told me that it was probably cataracts and he could remove them and put in lenses that would free me from glasses. He did two surgeries. One on each eye. He put the wrong lenses on each eye because dry eye distorts vision. In spite of his mistakes, he charged me for both surgeries and I have to pay $800 for the glasses now!! Do not go to this doctor or you may have a story like mine.
Terrible front desk staff - they make people wait hour for an appointment god forbid you have an emergency and need to be worked in then you wait 2 to 3 hours? Very inconsiderate will find a more compassionate group to take care of my family's eyes
Worst physician experience, literally, OF MY ENTIRE LIFE... my mom has been multiple times... each time, she had to wait at least ~1.5 hrs. And, no joke, each time, the doc spent no more than 2 minutes with her. Last time, I went, to ensure she asks the right questions... the doc was so rushed he literally started opening the door and walking out of it as I was asking my 1st question. And he didn’t stop! He kept walking out as he was answering my question! Absolutely horrible experience. Awful
Nothing he did for me was effective. Has changed my life for the worse. Would never recommend him. So sorry I ever walked into his office. Cataract surgery reduced my vision by 70 percent

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
