Had surgery today and couldn’t wait to get home to do my review. This man/doctor is a Angel sent by God. He and his entire time have been nothing but professional, compassionate and overall supportive. I have nothing but all good to say about Dr. Hotchkiss. He listens, gives appropriate eye contact and shows empathy. I didn’t feel judged if I didn’t use the correct grammar or felt nervous around him. He understood. He listened to me as his patient and my husband carefully and gave understanding feedback. His team joked if you wanted to laugh and they were serious when needed. I had 3 back surgeries from 3 different doctors. My experience with Dr. Hotchkiss was far superior to the other two. Dr. Hotchkiss really wants to help his patients. He even personally called me after the surgery on multiple occasions just to check on me. I would recommend Dr. Hotchkiss to anyone having back problems. He is the only back doctor that my family will go to. I am six months out of surgery and I feel like I have my life back. He is a great doctor and a great person.

Very professional respectful and attentive. Dr Hotchkiss is very knowledgeable and once he saw my issue came u with a plan to help me there was no fluff and bull very streight foward. The same can be said about ALL of the people that work around and with Dr Hotchkiss.

My wife and I are most impressed by Dr. Hotchkiss after meeting him and his staff. He really listens to the patient and offers clear and understandable explanations. He has a wonderful personality and is easy to talk to. He provided a plan for treating my specific back problem.I really do have a point of comparison with a neurosurgeon I had previously consulted—What a difference! That doctor seemed bored with the meeting and wanted to do surgery right away. He did not offer the steroid shot approach like Dr.Hotchkiss did; he did not explain the situation nearly as well as Dr. H. Our choice is a clear-—Dr.H. will be my doctor, and I trust him.I recommend him highly for problems with the spine.

Dr Hotchkiss is very understanding to all his patients. He performed back surgery on my wife with 2 herniated disks & 1 bulging disk. She never experienced any pain & never took a pain pill at all. Was walking a mile after 1 week. I would & have recommended him to anyone with back issues.
