There is no better neurosurgeon than Dr. Patel. He saved my son by removing a life threatening brain tumor. His expertise, compassion for his patients and bedside manner are above reproach. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Patel. I had a 3 level lower back fusion in 2021. At the time, I was barely walking. On the day of surgery, I had developed drop foot. Dr. Patel explained every step of the journey. I am 6+ months from surgery. I only have pain due to scar tissue and that is going away, I would highly recommend Dr. Patel if you have any type of neurological problems. He did wonderful job in my case.

Fantastic; trust him entirely; surgery went as expected; would go back to him immediately if had another problem. Explains problem and procedure to be done in great detail in a very understandable way.

Dr. Patel is amazing!!! He is extremely knowledgeable about his field and is not about sugar coating the issue. He has a fantastic bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. I am an Army veteran and chose to see him rather than go back to the VA. I thank Dr. Patel for taking me as a new patient!

Dr Patel referred me to a vascular surgeon. When I found out it would take 7 weeks to see him, I called Patel’s office to get help finding someone I could see sooner. I was told all of “them” take a long time to see. They did not even try to help. Kickbacks? Lazy? There are plenty of vascular surgeons in Arlington. The one they chose sometimes takes seven weeks or longer for all appointments !

Greetings, as I seat here reflecting on my surgery almost a yr ago(10-18-18. I am just grateful and blessed to have found a Dr. Patel, Neroulogist. I moved to Texas about 2 1/2 years ago, with back problems, numbness, tingling, aching pain in my lower back down my legs (to which my right we give out on me, tingling and burning to swollen feet that stem from a car accident on 2009. I was told I had spine problems (crack vertebrates, and I need surgery. Dr Patel was my 2nd opinion. When I saw, he assured me I need surgery and hardware needed to be place. Fast Forward, I had my surgery almost a year ago. Dr. Patel don't know, but his bed-side manners was a deciding factor as I wanted to do my surgery. He was excellent explaining my back problems, He was honest, he gave me information about the surgery along with pictures. Dr. Patel not only Wasa Dr. he became a friend, He told how long I might be in the hospital, he visited b4 leaving for the day. He made sure, I had rehabilitation in place to go home with. He was adamant to my insurance the importance of me having a womb vac. I put my condition totally in his hands,he made sure and voice my concerns, I am originally from Alabama and my mom lives in Alabama, she was for my surgery and she praise God, for God worked through Dr. Patel. Everytime I talked about my surgery, I refer them to him, he just not my doctor that put total health but he is friend to my family and I Thank you Dr. Patel Grateful Patient Shunmika S. Williams

Only 2 months from spinal fusion Surgery. Dr.Patel worked wonders. I went from popping norco just to walk and function. To no pain whatsoever. He and his team are outstanding explained all the risks what I would be going thru and what to expect. Way better then what was expected and he has great bedside manner and checked on me while I was in the hospital. If you have back problems Take the drive fly whatever you need to do Dr.Patel is the doc for you!!!

Hello, Dr Patel is the best Doc i have ever had. Very patient, he listens, answers every question asked by me and my family. Compassionate. He did my Cervical Fusion on disc 4-5 5-6 6-7 in Jan 18. I have to say, he changed my life. I am back to functioning at 95% compared to not being able to function at all. I would recommend him and his office staff to anyone.

Dr. Patel is a rare breed of a surgeon. He is a professional, brilliant, kind, caring and empathetic doctor with a gentle bedside manner. We saw him for several years after a traumatic brain injury and were always impressed with his patient rapport. He explains complex medical conditions in easy to understand terms, listens well, and takes the time to make sure you understand what is going on.
