Beware that after months of consultation, preparation, screening processes (including sleep study and psych eval, all passed without issue), that Dr. Arsalla Islam's office may decide to terminate you as a patient, without further explanation. Also beware that this could occur as few as two weeks prior to the scheduled procedure date, even if you've had it scheduled for 4 or 5 months in advance and completed all requirements months in advance. Beware. This doctor engages in medical malpractice through mental trauma. After months of prep, Dr. Arsalla Islam may just send you a tersely written letter by certified mail. They won't even call you on the phone. This occurred with me.

My Bariatric Solutions and Dr. Arsalla Islam, M.D. have engaged in medical malpractice through grave psychological damage inflicted on a patient. Dr. Islam performed bariatric surgery on me a year and a half ago, she completely botched my surgery. I'm unable to lay flat anymore (not an issue prior to surgery) my acid reflux went from a 7 to a 10, she didn't repair my hernia, and many other issues too long to list. Bottom line my surgery cost around 40k, she butchered me, and now a year and a half later I'm having to find another surgeon to hopefully fix the damage she caused. Please be very careful if you are considering her as your surgeon.

Laid on metal operating table for an hour waiting on Dr Islam to show up..! Awful back pain while she was doing an angiogram and she did not get the blockage in my leg unblocked..She said I needed an operation on my leg...I went to another vascular surgeon who done another angiogram on same leg and opened blocked artery and installed a stent. It really is important in choosing a doctor!. this is so important is because I have chronic Kidney disease and the dye used is hard on my kidneys.
