List of MIchelle Khoo's Reviews
She saves my sister’s life
Dr. Khoo could probably be a good cardiologist if she checked her ego and motivations. In the scheme of things, I find some the office decor a bit of cognitive dissonance. Her lack of compassion is stunning.
Dr. Khoo diagnosed me with AFib. I had been having symptoms while trying to stop taking propranolol. She did not look at the results of a monitor that I wore for 7 days (showing no Afib). All of my EKGs and Echocardiagram were fine. She then put me on unnecessary and dangerous medications. Even worse: her office did not respond when I had significant side effects from those medications. Non-response was the default when contacting here office for anything. A more competent cardiologist has established that I do not have Afib.
I found the MA and the Office Manager to be extremely rude and discourteous. Rather than explaining the reason for a procedure, the Office Manager alleged "difficulties" and "disrespect" of her staff. She said either I get on the weight scale ( I was feeling very dizzy and lightheaded and didn't feel safe stepping up on scale) or find another cardiologist. I was sitting in a very cold office with only a paper gown on to get an EKG and asked if the EKG could be done and then I'd go back and try and stand on the scale. The Office Manager said I needed to leave and "get out of my building". So I left. Let's hope they don't treat all their patients that way or bill Medicare for a visit that was never done.
I had bad experiences with office staff...I will NEVER go there again. They kept changing the date of my appointments and this last time didn't let me know. The office staff is extremely rude and insensitive!! They don't care if someone has to take a day off of work to take me to my appointments and they expect them to wait outside of the office in 100 + degree weather!!
I had a bad experience with her. She wrote an important RX after surgery that was incorrect and was unreachable to correct it. I had to go to the Urgent Care for them to make it right. Very LOW information Dr. Does not explain things adequately. She did not listen to my concerns. Choose another Doctor.
After years of strange almost blackout situations, I was seen by Dr Khoo at UCH. After treatment, attacks stopped for many years. Now on one medication. Travel seven hours twice a year to be treated and checked by Dr Khoo so obviously I think she is the very best!!
I went to Dr. Khoo for a few years due to having a very low pulse. She was unable to diagnose what was causing my pulse to go down as low as 31 and when I said to her my pulse was 31 her reply was SO. She didn't seem to see that as a problem. About a year later I went to another Cardiology specialist and wore a 24 hour heart monitor again. At that time my pulse had gone down to 28 and my heart stopped twice in a 24 hour time frame. I am astounded that this woman should be rated at 4 stars. I am so glad she did not put my pacemaker in. She is an arrogant fool who I wouldn't trust to perform any major surgery. I found the staff to be fine, especially the man who drew my blood. He was exceptional. The rest of the staff was courteous and well mannered. It's astounding that this women has a license to practice medicine. She is a high risk to say the least.
Dr Khoo genuinely cares about her patients. I take all my family members to see her and feel very lucky to have her as my doctor
Found a really good person and a great doctor...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
