List of Russell Doubrava's Reviews
My husbands visit was excellent. Very informative about his condition. Very easy to talk to. He recommended a course of action which involved surgery. Best decision ever made. Dr. Doubrava restored his quality of life. We had a few set backs but with Dr. Doubrava explaining how to handle small issues we have full confidence in his recommendations. We have found an excellent doctor in Decatur TX and trust him with all our urology needs. We recommend him highly.
Want to be treated like an imbecile? Want to be dismissed/degraded? Want a doctor who doesn't listen and makes ZERO effort to figure out your case if it's not textbook? Then this is your man. Otherwise don't bother. My daughter-in-law has had 3 UTIs in the last 5 months and constant kidney pain. Her doctor recommended she see a urologist. This guy's response? "Well, you don't have a UTI now." Seriously? No problem collecting payment after not doing a thing. No effort to consider why she might be getting multiple UTIs and leaving her crying in the office. He chastised her for taking a prescribed antibiotic. Apparently he made the assumption she was taking the antibiotic to ward off UTIs. Bad assumption. Bad advice. she's had a traumatic health year-and-a-half and he chose to add to the trauma!Thankful for the ability to leave Real reviews. For-warned.

Find it interesting when you have a doctor that has a handful of five star reviews and a lot of 1-star reviews and nothing in the middle. For-warned.
I HAVE FOUND DR.DOUBRAVA TO BE VERY KIND AND RIGHT DIAGNOSTICS WITH ME EVERY TIME AND RIGHT PRESCRIPTION
Dr. Russell Doubrava was rude during my examination and just referred me to get imaging. Once I got said Imaging HE NEVER CONTACTED ME WITH THE RESULTS. There is no patient care with him and I would go elsewhere.
Excellent Dr., staff, & very quick results & saved my kidney.
This doctor has performed several procedures on me and they were successfull
The office staff are very good folks. But Doubrava is a total brute in his exam. Caused a hematuria. If I were a rancher, I wouldn't let him examine my livestock.
I have visited his office twice now and both time treated very well and on time. I especially liked the way Dr Doubrava explained everything to me before and DURING the procedure. I never felt rushed and he took as much time with me as needed.. I highly recommend.
Dr. Doubrava's demeanor makes him easy to talk to, even about extremely personal issues. His explanations are thorough and he uses language that is easy to understand.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
