Dr. Astudillo is a great doctor everytime I needed him to see me his staff would work me in . Never spend hours at the appointments. This doctor also safed my life since I had a very critical labor. Thanks to him and god Im here writing this today.

I saw Dr. Astudillo thru the pregnancy & birth of my 2nd child. I was very happy with the entire experience. He does have a heavy accent, so I did often ask him to repeat himself, but he never seemed annoyed by that & just reworded things so I could better understand. I felt like I could ask him any questions I had & he took the time to address my concerns. He also seems to be conservative in his advice & practices, which is exactly what I was looking for. He did do a lot of ultrasounds & few physical exams. As far as the actual birth, I ended up deciding to induce early & even that was planned to be a slow & gradual process using a combination of meds & increasing the dosage as needed. When it turned out that I labored much more quickly than expected, Dr. Astudillo was there in the middle of the night to deliver my son. Dr. Astudillo isn't a warm fuzzy chit-chatty type doctor, but he knew what he was doing, respected me & my wishes, & was there when I needed him. I'd recommend him!

Saw Dr. Astudillo for my first pregnancy, conception through week 32 (we were transferred before my delivery.) I was the only non-Spanish speaking patient in the office so I felt a little out of place. The staff was considerate. Dr Astudillo has a pretty thick Spanish accent so it was often hard to understand what he was explaining, thankfully the nurses would clarify before I left the office. He did MANY ultrasounds which was great. Based on the options for an OB/GYN in the area, I'd have to recommend him, esepecially after hearing horror stories about the other doctors. He was professional and knowledgable if you get past the accent.
