The hospital building is old and not clean, the administration are not doing their work. The local hospitalist hand picks the CEO and the administration is just an employee for the local doctors who run the hospital board and the corporation and the medical staff (Hospitalist and old surgeon). If you get admitted by the Hospitalist who is the chief of the board or one of the old doctors, they will not see you until next day no matter how sick you are. No accountability in this place. These doctors run the hospital at their convenience. The doctors in the board cover things up. If you suffer complications or die they do not care and they protect each other.This Review was published by patient Edward C Schwarz on Jul 28 2021Dr. Lindsey did a double inguinal hernia surgery on me . Told him i am still in pain after surgery he said some people will have pain the rest of their life . Went to emergency room because of pain they did a CT scan showed still had hernia ' So i went to get a second opinion they said i still have a hernia so had a second surgery they said he had knots were he tied up mess plug

Who is in charge ? who is running the show in this hospital ? Where is the Tx state health DPT and the OIG from what is going on ?

Staff was very friendly. Radiology did an amazing job at keeping my baby calm and comfortable. The nurses are wonderful and very polite.

My husband was admitted for an emergency situation. The facility needs help. The personnel was nice but over worked. One nurse was going on her 16th hour of being on duty. No room cleaning personnel. The nursing staff was attentive but they could only do so much. The whole time he was in which was 4 days no one cleaned or moped the room. The cardiologist assigned to him never contacted my husband’s cardiologist as we requested. When my husband refused a surgical procedure our doctor advised him not to do; they just told my husband he could just leave. Actually booted him out. I really feel bad for the community if this is all that is available to them. Luckily I don’t live in del rio and have other options.

Went here had a eye infection doctor did nothing after so around 5 hours. Mailed me a bill of over $1400 dollars. Although I left and didn't have any treatment they told me over the phone was due to it was a emergency room visit. Because they took vitals. I went to an eye doctor across the street when it opened. She looked at my eye gave me some 2 sets of drops. The infection was gone. I can't believe this place is still open I called and said I want to dispute the bill over a month ago and haven't heard anything since.

There has got to be a faster way to get processed just to go to lab. I have to go to registration every time and wait for sometimes over an hour with other quests registering for other hospital appointments. They even give me a laminated name/ID bracelet like I’m going to be a patient here. I just want to get blood work done.

The entire staff up to and including dr. Vieira have expressed our dividend lackadaisical behavior and indifference towards the patient I could not in my right mind ever recommend her as a doctor for anybody I am a veteran theyHave been nonchalant about their responsibility and have pushed to see me even though don't do what they sayThey've not been authorized through the VA and even do they've seen me at my expense of not being able to get my meds their sense of urgency send to be directed to sick money out of the formerly rather than stem to the patients need thereby denying their hypocratic oath and making a mockery of the medical profession may they rot in jail for abusing the system they're going to do she has been unauthorized work on me when she filed for me and then she got me a psychiatrist it was unauthorized and therefore I'm not able to get my meds I cannot deal with the doctor that doesn't take the clients or the patient's needs as important

Horrible I went there and they told me nothing helpful the doctor looked like he didn’t want to be there I understand your tired but at least treat your patients good! I hate coming to the Er but I have no choice next time I’ll go to Stat cause I forgot that place was there. I do not recommend this place at all the doctor was rude didn’t really tell me anything didn’t really explain much I’ll he told me to talk to another doctor when he’s a doctor but it’s whatever I don’t plan on coming back. The nurse that I had was really nice polite I feel better with him that I did with the doctor. And that says a lot
