Christina Dooley's Online Review Report Card

I transferred to Dr. Dooley from a women's medical clinic in Denton, when I was 4 months pregnant because my pregnancy turned out to be high risk. Dr. Dooley was and continues to be very caring, compassionate, personable and most importantly, she is very skilled and knowledgeable with the latest advances in medicine and maintains the latest medical equipment in the office so there is no need to go anywhere else, even for the riskiest pregnancy. Dr. Dooley saw me every week (sometimes twice) for the duration of my pregnancy (46 visits in all). My baby was born 4 days before Christmas and the hospital was filled to the brim with women in labor. Though Dr. Dooley was caring for many women that day, Dr. Dooley did not rush it, explaining everything to me all the time she was calmly by my side, using more olive oil and working with my contractions (instead of increasing the pectocin to rush the birth). The result was a very calm birthing experience. Also, Dr. Dooley postponed her long anticipated vacation plans in order to see me through my delivery. I should also mention the staff. Though I could see that the front office was going through a transitional time with new staff, and there were some delays at a certain point, every staff member that I worked with, greeted me with a smile and a caring demeanor (for 46 appointments!) Further, I always knew what costs I would encounter and was given options if something was not so affordable (my insurance is good enough but not excellent). It was evident that they cared about my pocket book as well as a healthy delivery. Additionally, I recently had an acute health problem requiring a short hospital stay, and Dr. Dooley and her staff again took exceptional care of me. I trust her and her staff implicitly and I continue to recommend Dr. Dooley to friends, who have experienced the same wonderful care.

I have been going to Allison Mirike for years and I have always had a wonderful experience. Allison was even able to calm down my sister during her first ever PAP smear and made the entire experience comfortable. Highly recommend!

I saw Dr. Dooley for my first pregnancy. She’s very kind and I’m confident that in an emergency situation she would be able to take care of me and my baby. I chose her because of positive reviews saying the she was wonderful and hands on, but most of my appointments were with one of the two PAs. Being seen by three different people made me feel like I never built a relationship with anyone. I was also given some misinformation by a PA (later corrected by Dr. Dooley) that made me consider finding a new practice. When I went into labor Dr. Dooley was on call but they couldn’t get ahold of her. When she came in for her shift she asked if I wanted to have my premie that day or the next day. I asked her for advice, and she just said that that day baby’s lungs would be less developed, but the next we’d be at risk for infection, and she’d do whatever I wanted. No discussion of what was potentially more risky/harmful. Baby and I are fine, but I’m considering switching to a new doctor.

First impressions are a big thing for me, she was very kind had great enthusiasm and I was really looking forward to her taking care of us but unfortunately I was dropped as a patient due to unexpected circumstances that were out of my control.

Dr. Dooley is simply the best OBGYN and Reproductive Endocrinologist. After 4 years of trying to conceive and visiting many specialists and being told I need to lose weight or not knowing the reason for my fertility issues and feeling like a number, Dr. Dooley was heaven sent. Dr. Dooley took her time to properly assess my health condition and did not discriminate against my race, weight, or culture and she was able to pinpoint the exact cause of my fertility issues and immediately addressed it in a less invasive manner and I ended becoming pregnant on the first try with her guidance. Throughout the entire pregnancy Dr. Dooley's prenatal appointments were super thorough, informative, supportive, bedside manner was very professional, and I felt heard throughout my entire pregnancy. I went into spontaneous pre-term labor at 31 weeks and Dr. Dooley was incredible to make sure I was comfortable, did not panic, and provide me with all the information I needed to know in regards to pre-term labor and birth without instilling fear. Dr. Dooley's work speaks for itself through her professionalism, always keeping up to date with current health research in regards to reproductive health, making sure to be thorough in her assessment of you to provide you the best resolution for your particular situation, always staying positive, and most important she genuinely cares about you and does not discriminate. Being a woman of color myself I can confidently say you will be in great hands with Dr. Dooley, she's simply the best!

Warm personal and professional superb bedside manner

I love Dr. Dooley and her team. I went into my pregnancy low risk, it was my first baby and I had no prior abnormal labs. When my labs came back just a tiny bit weird, she decided to do additional testing instead of waving it off as being a one time thing. That's when they found the antiphospholipid antibodies. After that, she referred me to some wonderful specialists who took great care of me. My baby unfortunately didn't make it, but they have been so kind and patient with me during this hard time. It's really nice to have a doctor care so personally about me and my health. I'd recommend a million times over.

She was amazing! I love going to the appointments because all the staff/nurses were so nice and caring. Would always listen to your questions and made you feel at home. The hospital was amazing as well, loved all my nurses that help me. The best experience ever!!!

Best OB/GYN I've ever dealt with. Extremely professional and hands down the most knowledgeable physician I've interacted with. Your friends and family are safe here. She has a commanding, yet compassionate, presence that makes you feel comprehensively taken care of. Sandy, her sonographer, is also wonderful. She deals with people in a compromising position, and is fantastic at making them feel comfortable. They are also tremendous at dealing with people who come from different backgrounds (LGBTQ+, multicultural, etc.)
