Gaurav Arora's Online Review Report Card

I have used Dr Arora since 2014. Have always had a very good experience with him and his staff. I believe recently he has had some issues with his staff and phone system which I understand has been corrected . I pray all is back to normal. You won't find a better Doctor in my opinion.

Rude, arrogant, and insecure, this man should have chosen another profession. He recommended hiatal surgery for my wife after a year of his treatments gave her no relief. The surgery left her feeling much worse than she did before and he told her to just “give it time”. After a full year she sought a second opinion. That doctor called and consulted with him during that visit. Today, three months later, at her scheduled appointment, he acted hurt and offended and wanted to know why she “went behind his back” to get a second opinion. He then demanded to know why she came back to see him, like some broken-hearted teenager. Told us we needed to leave. Like someone before us said, I wish I could give a zero star review.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Arora for several years and found him and his staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. I recently returned for a new problem and physical therapy was prescribed. The original follow up appointment was rescheduled to July 21 at 3:45 p.m. by the doctor’s office because Dr. Arora was going to be out of town on June 30th. On July 18th, I tried to reach the office to cancel the July 21st appointment due to the excessive heat in the late afternoon. They now have a robot system that tells you to leave word, then sends a text acknowledging your call and says you will be contacted soon. It also provides a link to a patient portal (Klara) where you can leave a message and will be contacted soon. To date, August 2, 2022, I have not been contacted by anyone via text, phone call or Klara. I don’t know what’s going on but maybe this will bring a response. Also, efforts to hold and speak with the receptionist were unsuccessful.

Went 30mins early to my appointment only to sit there for over an hour and a half! Over 10 people were called before me. I had my appointment scheduled in advance. They should have called and verified insurance before I even got to the appointment. Instead I sat there in pain from my gallbladder removal surgery while they called my insurance provider. Clearly this establishment could care less about their customers! Do not go here! Then the nurse is rude and doesn’t even let you know what’s going on. Unprofessional! Won’t go back!

not good..without getting into all the details... he basically told me that i was to eat gluten before my egd/colonscopy so he would know for sure if i had Celiacs... not going to happen.... was diagnosed years ago with Celiacs and if anyone has every experienced the side effects of gluten with this disease.. it is not pretty and extremely painful.. since then have moved on and found another GI dr. whom i am pleased with and said never go back to eating that with this disease that he confirmed via scope .....

Dr Arora did not talk to me after the second procedure nor did he call me after with the pathology report. When I called his office, they stated just come back in 3 years and it was benign. He did not seem concerned about issues I was having. I asked question and he did not give direct answers. Probably would have saved me from having a second colonoscopy in the same week.

Professional staff, no excessive wait time, every effort made to maintain sanitation of both patient and staff. Complete explanation of procedures and expectations. Everyone seemed to be happy in their jobs and happy to help me.

Dr. Arora is wonderful. His staff is knowledge and friendly. He took the time to review my history before meeting me and answered all my questions.

my first interaction with Dr Arora. the appointment was quick. the staff was great, the Dr took its time to ask questions about my health and explained the next steps. I would definitely recommend
