The kindest doctor and best care. I had foot surgery and can’t be happier with everything.

I had bunion surgery on my right foot in December of 2020. I didn't have problems with this surgery so I was quick to have my left foot done. I had bunion surgery on my left foot in April of 2021. The bone ended up fracturing. This was not diagnosed for several weeks of me walking on a broken foot. Dr. Doa was on vacation. When he came back he only wrote me a script for infection. Finally after I mentioned the redness did not go away, Dr Doa decided to xray. That's when we found the fracture. He went back in to fix the fracture in June of 2021. After months of it not healing he decided he wanted to try another surgery. My husband was obviously frustrated and called Dr. Doa. During my preop appt Dr. Doa told me I needed a new Dr bc he didn't like my husband. He referred me to another podiatrist. She immediately ordered a CT scan to see what was going on with my foot. I had a non-union. She ended up having to take a bone graft from my heal and fused my big toe together. Then placed a huge plate on top of the bone. This was in November of 2021. My foot finally healed in the summer of 2023. And I was able to have the hardware removed 2 years after having it put in. I had her take an xray on my right foot. I still have a bunion and will likely need to have it operated on again. Dr. Doa is a very nice man but he ruined my feet. It says alot when a podiatrist has to refer you to another podiatrist. She told me I am very lucky he didn't do the last surgery on me. She would not have been able to fix it if he had. Get a second opinion. Dr. Richie-Smith is the best of the best 👌

Dr . Dai is a great Dr. his bedside man is superb. But his office personnel is a problem. Some are very lippy when call before closing. Also no one contacts you if your insurance doesn't clear(for inserts and so forth.) Medical knowledgeable is lacking when they check your insurance (like a credit check). The Dr. can fix a lot of the office's problems but the y refuse to give messages or inform him.Attitude is all you'll get if you have the answer. But Dr. Dao is a saint. He rocks.

Called to verify if they accept my insurance Tricare. And they do! So glad I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. This is a clean facility. Parking is a bit of a hassle. Restroom was clean too. I arrived early to my appointment (new patient) and I was called to the back past my scheduled appointment. Dr. Dao is very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate him taking his time to look at my foot and helping me with my pain. Front desk rep was nice. I would recommend Dr. Dao as your podiatrist.

I give this service a negative

I just had my bunion fixed by Dr. Dao and everything went really well! I was nervous to do surgery, but I was surprised by how easy everything went! I just had my post op appointment and we were impressed by the results! Very minimal swelling and looks so much straighter. I have never thought of my feet as pretty or dainty, but with my bunion fixed it looks completely different. If you are considering getting your bunions corrected I would recommend Dr. Dao! Below is a comparison of my left foot with my post op right foot.
