Very timely and very nice.very complere
I absolutely love Dr. Sontineni. From the first time I saw him a few years ago, to my last visit one week ago. He is extremely thorough and very professional. The thing I love most is that he listens to my needs and he cares about his patients. He has always made me feel like I am his most important patient he has. At least for the time I have with him. I would recommend Dr Sontineni to anyone. His staff that has taken care of me has always treated me just as the the doctor has. Brenda is so kind to me. If the doctor is running late, they will give me a call and let me know, giving me the option of coming a bit later, rebook my appointment or to wait.
I’ve been seeing Dr. For several years now. I literally would not be here if not for him discovering 5 heart blockages 5 years ago. I see him regularly and trust his ability implicitly.
This is by far the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had in my life. First off I saw him in the hospital after I had my heart attacks and surgery and he didn’t care for me or do anything he just visited me so he could bill the hospital and I called him out on that. Then when I was out of the hospital he called me to schedule some testing that my doctor recommended and told me the doctors visit will be $300 plus whatever the testing is and I said I don’t know if I can afford that so he just hung up on me. Then when I finally scheduled my echo gram, they wanted me to pay $300 for a visit and then $300 for the test. After weeks of arguing, my doctor contacted them and ordered the echo gram so all I had to pay for was the test which was $300. Doctor Sontenini wasn’t there and the tests was performed by a medical assistant, which is fine with me. Afterwards I waited for my test results for 4 days after I was supposed to get them I had to call their office and they tell me that it cost $300 for another visit to get the results. This is one of the greediest people I have ever met and the office was so cheap. He has workers using folding tables as their desk and clearly using their own laptop from home. The girl at the front didn’t even have a mouse pad she was using a legal pad as a mouse pad. This doctor is a crook and if you have a choice, go see anybody else even if it’s a guy with a van in an alley do that instead. This person will rip you off.
If I could give zero stars I would. This was a very frustrating experience from the beginning. Here are the lowlights: 1) I had to chase them down to make my appointment after they received the referral from my doctor. They claimed they would have got to me eventually. This was 2 weeks after they received the referral and they acted like I bothered them. 2) Showed up for my appointment. 1 hour later I asked if they could tell me how much longer. The front desk had not told them I was there and they thought I no showed. But they didn't see if I was there or try to call me or anything. They finally took me back, so just to read my EKG it was a 3 hour appointment. 3) Schedule me for an echocardiogram. The same day they cancelled the appointment with a text. Said they would call to reschedule. Never called. I called them and they said it would be like 3 weeks before I could get in. Didn't really seem to care that they cancelled on me. Overall, Dr. Sontineni was a very nice doctor and apologetic. However, his front desk and administrative staff is horrible. I would avoid doing business with them unless you want your blood pressure to go through the roof.

Dr Sontineni is a caring, kind, and compassionate physician. I have very confidence in him, and would be happy to continue my care with him. The front office staff are always courteous and try very hard to answer all questions without bias. The problem is the communication between the two. Numerous times Dr. Sontineni has ordered labs, prescribed drugs, or asked for follow up visits, and everytime the front desk has no idea what I'm talking about. I have to make multiple phone calls to get the labs, Rx, or follow ups. There is some type of broken mechanism in that office that Dr Sontineni's orders are not immediately transcribed into patient charts. Very frustrating, as the front desk can only answer my question by talking to the doctor directly. Just today, I asked for lab paperwork, and was told they would call me back in 10 minutes. I had to call back 2 HOURS later, for them to still not have the answer.
I was referred to doctor Sontineni when I got out of the hospital and when I followed up they said they could squeeze me in and accommodate with my work. When I got there at the scheduled time and date I was told that I was not scheduled and the doctor had left for the day. I showed them the text they sent me confirming the appointment and informed me that I spoke to the Dr wife and she just didn't put me down or tell anyone about the appointment. The front office staff was also rude about it. I wouldn't trust my health to someone like that.
I am 78 years old and suffered congestive heart failure in April 2021. I was rushed to the hospital with 10% EF and started seeing Dr Sontineni for treatment. In November 2021, I danced to Taylor Swift at my granddaughter’s wedding. Thank you so much, Dr Sontineni!
No, I would not recommend him to anyone. He is short staffed. Which means you usually have tele visits, not sure what he can tell from those type visits without taking blood pressure and other vitals. The Dr. fails repeatedly to call in prescriptions on time for me and lacks compassion. I missed my fathers last dying words because he delayed so long with my prescriptions. I believe he is just in it for the money! I put one star because you have to put in a rating, but with this statement I am removing my one star. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! Last office visit he blood pressure unit did not function. ?????

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
