List of Dr. Heather Vasser's Reviews
My husband and I both have used Dr Vasser several times. She has always been very thorough and respectful with us! No negative issues with her at all!
Dr. Vasser is very professional , caring, and knowledgeable. She listens and makes things very understandable. She has a great staff that is very efficient and friendly. Always make sure things and explained and follows up after procedures. Overall an excellent doctor highly recommend her as a surgeon .
Doesnt take the time to listen to the patient. I know shes very busy and seems to be rushed to see everyone.
Great surgeon, polite, good bedside manner and will explain options to you before and after surgery. Office staff is also polite and efficient. Here nurse Lauren is also proficient and personable.
DETAILS OF COMPLAINT: On 08/14/2020 I went to Columbus Hospital to have a pilonidal cyst surgery and several cysts on the back of my neck removed. I was in a pretty good mood. i made a joke to the lady doing the sonogram. she laughed. then the anestigiologist walked in the operating room so I said something funny to him. This anesthigiologist didnt like my joke. he intentionally assaulted me a minimum of twenty times by placing the needle between my discs and over inflating this area causing violent pain. after the twentieth time i yelled at him and yelled back at me what. only after i yelled did he stop torturing me. Vasser knew this day subordinant the anesthigiologist assaulted me a did nothing. I phone Vassers office weeks after the surgery because i was terrified of not getting proper care and spoke to Vassers assistant. I told her in great detail what happened. the next time i met with Vasser for post surgical inspection and Vasser never brought the assault up. later I called the Administration office of Columbus Community Hospital that they had a surgeon thst did not follow protocal because if Vasser had followed Hospital procedure I would have at least gotten a call from them, the administrators. several weeks later i still had no response from any investigation conducted from the Hospital. i told them i just wanted a call to let me know they looked into this. still no call or letter. I phoned 06/10/21 to get the date of service and the name of the anesttheologist but they refused. i didnt talk further because they have circeld the wagons. there is proof of what i am saying, that this assault did in fact take place. the sonogram used to place the fluid recorded everything. Some legal authority has to get a copy of this proof. Im hoping your office will conduct a stealthy unbiased investigation because I have spoken to a Columbus Police Officer Brandon Wilson and his Captain Alley, they have both refused to investigate the assault that took place. i will take a polygraph. I need justice. noone should ever have to be at there most vulnerable in a place you are supposed to feel is safe only to be assaulted by a medical profession and covered up by the hospital and all of those involved. please please investigate. this caused me extreme pain afterwards and off and on now because of his savageness.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
