I don't give him a star .It is not worth one.He is very careless just like his staff.He is always defending his staff.When you complain about them, or the way that they treat you.So if He's staff is like that is because he approves it.Plus He is always cold and heartless, to the suffering ofthe patient.He thinks that he is so good to be true.
I had a appointment with Dr Leyva he is a awesome Dr. And cares but this time he was busy and was seen by Dr Monroy I felt he was in a rush I was telling him what problems I had. He was rushing so I was prescribed what I had a yr ago and to follow up in a month. Not only that he sent my prescription to wrong pharmacy I called his staff so it can be fixed and they keep giving me the run around.. not going back here. The girls are rude and careless they Show they don't care..
This doctor shouldn’t be in medicine, he is very arrogant and unprofessional. How is this office still in business is beyond me. The way they treat the patient is terrible. Thank God there are actual doctors that care. This one needs to retire.
My 92 yr old mother had an appt. and she made a comment that she felt like she was dying and he kicked her out of his office and severed ties. Very unprofessional, how do these people even become doctors with such attitudes. I wouldn’t trust him with anyone. Horrible experience.
I havent even seen the dr so this I guess isnt on him but the receptionist. We were calling to reschedule and trying to look at the calender and she rudely says I have other calls to get to call back later and rushed off the phone. You would think this rude person would at least cancel the appt but apparently doesnt know how to do her job but no and then they call to remind of appt I press to cancel and a week after my appt I get a call stating I missed my appt so clearly they dont know what there doing
I took my brother to Dr Monroy for an appointment and the staff was very professional and kind. Dr. Monroy was also very kind to us and spent ample time answering questions. We were seen in a timely manner. I highly recommend this office.
One of the worst dr's staff I've seen. they treat you "nice" and then they just ignore you. I had to ask for my money back and left the office. Been there before and doctor and assistant NOT quilified enough to be what they should be. Very disappointed.

Dr. Monroy is a wonderful geriatric doctor. He took very good of my mother when she was alive and my father still sees him to this day. He listens to their concerns. I would recommend anyone with older parents to consider sending them to this doctor.

Took months to get in for visit. Patients were crowded in to a hot waiting room in spite of coronavirus and distancing rules. Waiting 2.5 hours to go back. Dr. Monroy was rude and belittling. I do not recommend. And will never go back.
Great staff and doctors are professional and experienced.
Poor communication with established patients. I received a call to remind me of my appointment, but was not informed that the office was moved to another location. I suggested tothe receptionist that they should inform the doctor's patients. The receptionist said they have over 3000 patient and that would not be possible. The receptionist had a unprofessional demeanor and seemed not to care.
There is no other doctor in El Paso that I trust my patients with. He truly cares for his patients.
Tuve una cita por que hiba mal de la oriname dejaron en un cuarto por más de una horay las empleadas tenían la música muy fuerteY salí y les dije que cuando me hiba a atender el dr y me dijeron ahorita les dije que ya tenía mucho tiempo esperando y el dr se molestó por que les dije eso y me dijo que si no me gustaba que fuera con otro dr. Pero de una manera prepotente y sarcástica y le dije que si me hiba y no me devolvieron mi dinero y si le alse la voz y dijo háblenle al 911 es un dr de lo más PREPOTENTE no se lo recomiendo ni a un moribundo.

I took my 92 year old mother to see Dr. Monroy. During our first visit, he took a long time to get to know her and her situation and went through all her medicines with us. At our next appointment, she was given her physical, including a full memory test which she has never been given by any other doctor. He again took his time and spoke with us about our next steps. The wait time is minimal, the office staff is pleasant and helpful, and the doctor is thorough, professional and knowledgeable.
Great doctor, worse staff in town. Staff has no clue customers pay thier salaries. Saw doc with 2 1/2 hour wait before seeing him. Had to return for incomplete paperwork after visit. After 4 hours secretary still unable to walk 10 feet to get signature for DNR assuring me "patient looked good at last visit and will be fine until they can get paperwork signed " knowing I was leaving town for a week. Requested call back from nurse and was not called. Not sure secretary had medical /legal knowledge to make judgement guaranteeing good health in 89 year old man with multiple comorbidities . Labs lost. Staff said they never received them. LabCorp showed they were sent.
