I can't thank Dr. Fernandez enough for what he did for me. I went in on June 6, 2021 with a Comminuted Fracture of the Left Patella (Shattered Knee Cap). Dr. Fernandez was very professional and walked me through in detail through all my options. He was completely honest about everything. He performed surgery on June 15, 2021 and took his time in the OR making sure his work was perfect. Every check-up after that, Dr. Fernandez was always present and showed me my progress. Due to the intensity of the fracture I thought I was not going to walk the same again, but as of today, I am back to normal. I recovered my day to day routines of going to work and even going back to the gym. One of the best orthopedic surgeons in El Paso, Tx. I will forever be grateful for everything Dr. Fernandez and his entire staff at Border City Orthopedics did for me.

Went to see Dr Fernandez cause I was having problems with my right shoulder and arm. The finding were torn rotator cuff, multiple tears on my bicep and torn bicep tendon. Went in for surgery 2 weeks after diagnosis ( not going to lie , I was unsure if it would help ). During my check up, he showered be before and after pictures, I must say he cleaned up all my damage and it looked like I never had anything wrong. Recovery time is projected of full strength and movement is about a year. 6 months later I’m still a little tight and some muscle weakness but with my PT I’m able to return be to work and do the extra stuff I like but I have to be careful.

Dr Fernandez did an amazing job repairing my shoulder. He explained the surgery in detail and got my through it all. I spent 7 months in his care and I highly recommend him and his staff. Professional, efficient and super friendly. Thank you so much!

Daughter had surgery about a year ago. Surgery went well, recovery went well. Following Dr.'s recovery plan is a must. Daughter is back running for cross country, playing basketball with no issues. highly recommend Dr. Fernandez. Staff is pleasant, professional, attentive.Thank you to all for a great experience!

Dr Fernandez and his staff are amazing! Staff is professional and attentive. Dr Fernandez has a genuine passion for his patient’s well-being. Almost 1 year since knee surgery and everything seems to be going well with lots of therapy. Daughter is starting back her sports training!
