I had a family member meet with a NP for the past year & after several attempts of requesting referrals for therapy, etc- this professional very clearly had no interest in further helping. At her last appt, In front of my family member, she told the staff “Only 20 min with her next time.” Look elsewhere & save your money. There is no genuine interest in helping. And they should be ashamed of this professional.

La Mente has a great mental health program. I’ve been going for 2-3 months and I’d definitely recommend to anyone dealing with mental health problems. Areas very clean, employees are very nice caring and understanding. I’m very thankful for all La Mente has done for me. Thank you to the front desk, nurses and Linda Perez. 10/10

Hola! La Mente es la mejor opción si se busca buen servicio y trato humano, mis 2 hijos son pacientes, siempre me ayudan con lo que mis hijos necesitan, y sobre todo y lo más importante es que Julieta siempre ayuda a mis hijos y me explica muy bien, Gracias Julieta 🙌🏽

I want to say that Jessica R who works in the front checking patients always greats me with a great attitude. She makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. Jessica B one of the Medical Assistant has always shown care, kindness, and compassion towards me every time I see her. My provider Sarah Flowers is one of kind and she has made my visits feel so special by always listening to me and treating me with respect. I would not seek another provider other than her bc she has been by far the most amazing person who actually cares for the wellbeing of her patients. Last but not least, the call center hands down are the best bc they provide outstanding customer service and they will always be helpful and supportive even if we as patient are feeling overwhelmed they have always shown patience towards me. Thank you La Mente Behavoiral Health team for seeing me as a person first rather than just a number. I always look forward to my appointments bc I enjoy the service, vibe, and love I get when I go there.

So I went in there just to check on my mental health because I was diagnosed as a kid with adhd and I felt I still have it due to issues in my everyday life. I went with Sara flowers. I’ve just had to say I’ve never understood more than when talking with her. She was calm, welcoming, and very easy to understand. She made all the dots connect! Everything I had issues with she could explain why and how to help. The appointment was fast the office was clean and they had a kid area where my daughter could move around read and play. They also had snacks available, bananas and apples! My daughter was in heaven! The staff was courteous and attentive. I will recommend this place and most of all Sara Flowers! If you have any issues and want to see someone who will address your concerns and give you not only what you need but all of the information for everything. She answered every question clear and simple. Thank you!

Don't tust la mente I suffered negligence there and they took no responsibility for it they stood like nothing happened and they got away with it be very careful with dr phil and dr Perez they were responsible for it.

I Do Not Recommend La Mente Behavioral Health I went to La Mente Behavioral Health for what should have been a simple medication refill, but I left feeling scared, trapped, and deeply shaken. Instead of listening to my needs, the nurse practitioner, Sara Flowers, pushed me repeatedly to agree to be put in a psychiatric hospital — even though there was no emergency and I clearly said no. While I was trying to explain myself, she secretly brought in another person, Natasha Rivera, who turns out to be the office manager, to sit in on my private session without asking me first. I felt ambushed and like I couldn’t trust what was happening. When I realized things didn’t feel right, I left the office. Not long after, the police showed up at my home. I believe this was done to intimidate me after I declined their unnecessary push for hospitalization. No one seeking help for mental health should feel trapped, pressured, or afraid for their safety. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for care. My experience felt more like a setup than support.
