Dr. Alpern performed cataract surgery on both my husband and me. We are thrilled with the results! No more eyeglasses or contact lenses! The staff is excellent, caring and well-trained, also. The office takes great care with COVID protocols and we felt confident that we were in a safe space. We highly recommend The Cataract & Glaucoma Center!

Recently had cataract surgery done by Dr. Alpern. It was an incredible experience beginning to end and now have perfect vision again! During my many related office visits I had the opportunity to observe the caring, patient & compassionate manner in which he cares for his patients and the very obvious level of teamwork & mutual respect shown between the Dr. Alpern & his staff. They truly work as a team where every member is valued & respected while being held to high expectations. Dr. Alpern & his staff are a rare & wonderful example of what medicine can & should be in today’s “time pressured” world. Kudos to each & every one of you! 💕

First visit with Dr. Alpern. Starting from arriving to the office staff was very attentive and explained everything. The back staff that helped with the eye exams all explained in detail the process. Dr. Alpern was wonderful. Will definitely recommend others to his office.

I went from legally blind to 20/20 after cataract surgery by Dr. Alpern. It is now a year later and still seeing perfectly. He is a miracle worker.

I want to congratulate Dr. Louis ALPERN for my SUCCESSFUL Cataract surgery. As an older patient I am happy to report that my recent visit to renew my Texas drivers license was a big success as "wearing glasses" when driving was removed from my driving restrictions; which is a big plus for me! During every checkup Dr Alpern and his staff do a very thorough eye exam. Recent I had cataract surgery. Knowing I have astigmatism and have been very nearsighted since childhood I had some apprehensions. He knew which lenses were best for my situation and I’m glad to report very good results for both distance and closeup activities.
