My recent visit with Dr. Guerra was wonderful! I also want to mention that the staff at Village Medical were very professional and respectful. Dr. Guerra has always been and still is a very professional and ethical doctor. I appreciate his input and concern for my health and well being. I trust his professional advice in my health plan, not only for my present health but also for my future health.

I lost my faith him. I went to him very sick and he completely dismissed me as a mental patient. He wouldn't listen, he didn't care. He looked at the computer and numbers instead of treating me. But Worst of all he didnt help me. I had to find a specialist in female health and she started me on medication that allowed me to get better. If I hadn't done that I dont know what would have happened to me.

Dr Guerra is my PCP. He is a wonderful doctor who listens and answers all my questions. He always reviews all my lab results in a way I can understand. I know I'm in good hands with him. I trust him with my well being and would recommend him highly. He is a God sent. His staff is always professional and courteous. The office is first class.

I got on here, looking for an alternate phone number and was surprised to see some of the reviews. I have been a patient of Dr. L. Guerra for a long time. He is one of the most wonderful and caring doctors I have ever known. He takes his time, listens and does his best unlike many other doctors. He is smart and always working. I love this doctor! Yes, there are some issues with getting someone on the phone or long waits at times but this should not reflect on the abilities of the doctor himself. I am writing an update to my previous review. This new office staff and company that he switched to is absolutely awful and incompetent! For 6 months, I have been trying to speak to a supervisor to no avail. As much as I like Dr. Guerra, the stress of his office staff and their lack of empathy and professionalism will have me going elsewhere. He needs to do more to be sure that his patient's are getting better treatment. How unfortunate as he believes that they are great.

The Doctor gets a 5 from me, but his office staff specially a man called Hugo makes the whole rating drop to a very low standing. He is so rude and disrespectful to patients. I had an issue with their protocol not being followed and he argued, talked over me, and even hung up on me. Being on medicare a lot of these people forget that the Physician can be audited for this kind of behavior. Dr. Guerra was excellent but his office staff has a lot to learn.
