MIchael Bowen's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bowen has been my kids pediatrician for 12 years. When we moved to a different side of town I tried switching their pediatrician and I feel like we couldn’t run fast enough back to Dr. Bowen. When I say he’s the BEST pediatrician in town, I mean he’s the BEESSSTTTT pediatrician in town.

Did not care for the Dr.s disposition nor the staffs. Care received felt very cold and disconnected. I’ve had better experiences at the vet. Don’t think I would ever recommend nor return. Chose this pediatrician based on the raving reviews and was very disappointed with how my daughter was handled and the way in which the nurse chose to administer vaccines. My daughter and I were left in tears while the nurse chuckled.

He has been our daughters' doctor since Elementary School! Personable, attentive, courteous, respectful and always acknowledges family. What a blessing to have a caring, nurturing and most importantly outstanding doctor!

Amazing doctor. He not only respects you as a parent, but was my doctor growing up and is now my daughters pediatrician. He does so well with children and he’s so patient and caring. There’s no one else like him in El Paso. And no one else that can beat his care and compassion for his patients that he treats like family!

So happy to have found a great pediatrician! Even though Bowen Pediatrics goes by appointment only, they were kind enough to allow my walk in with my baby who had high fever. Dr. Bowen still took his time with my baby and answered all my questions without being in a rush. The office staff is definitely strictly business but never rude, or atleast from what I’ve seen when I’m there. Most of them are the actual nurses and have always been super gentle and sweet with my baby. I highly recommend Dr. Bowen to all new moms out there like myself.

We changed from dr. Akin and have been very happy ever since he is a wonderful doctor very nice

Excellent Dr. Won't take my kids anywhere else. Takes his time to listen to my concerns about my boy's. Doesn't hesitate to refer to a specialist if needed.

In response to "todder with fever" review, there must have been some confustion with clinic hours. The clinic has appointments only from 9-3 pm then sick walk in after 3 everyday. If a child is sick and appointments are full they can be see SAME DAY starting at the 3 pm walk in. It sounds like the grandmother was asked to come in start at 3pm that same day to be seen. I don't think the grandmother understood they were telling her they could be seen that very day. If the grandmother was expecting to been seen right then and there and make patients wait that already had an appointment, that is not a reasonable expectation given they were told they could be seen same day.

my grandson has had a fever for 2 days called to schedule an appointment receptionist said Dr. could not see him, to take him in 3-5pm and see if he can get in. Dr. is amazing Front office staff is very rude. Again a toddler with high fever and cannot be seen by his Pediatrician!!!

Excellent doctor, never long wait times. He always explains everything well. Really happy to have a doctor like him here. Never disappointed.
