This "doctor" saw me at Rio Vista Behavioral Health and decided to re diagnose me after seeing me for a total of 10 minutes over 11 days. He and his staff then refused to fill out any of my paperwork for my employer verifying that I had been there and that Oscar had seen me. El Paso's finest, truly.

Dr. Perez, Jocelyn and Sandra are great providers! The entire team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to patient care. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for thoughtful, supportive, and professional psychiatric care.

I don’t know where to begin, but I’ll say this: El Paso, TX is extremely fortunate to have Dr. Perez and his amazing staff. They have been nothing but caring and transparent with me. For anyone seeking a psychiatrist, I highly recommend Dr. Perez.

I had a telehealth call with Dr Perez. I explained my situation and how my previous psychiatrist had cold turkey-ed my Ativan. I explained it caused hallucinations, involuntary twitching and insomnia. I ended up in the ER. The put me on another log acting benzo temporarily until I could find another psychiatrist. Because I take codeine for severe lumbar spine pain I’ve been stereotyped and treated horribly. I asked if he could help me. He told me he wanted to put me in an inpatient psych hospital for observation to determine what to do with me. I wasn’t having a psychotic episode nor was I suicidal. I asked him was he aware how horrible those places were because I’d been in one before. I began to cry and told him my mother just had a large stroke and was bedridden and couldn’t speak. All I wanted was to be near family at this point and did he realize he’d be taking me away from them? He looked at me in shock. I basically told him where to stick it and ended the call. The freaking psychiatrist with an inflated sense of self are blind to how awful these places are. The come in once a week and sit behind some big desk and sneer at ppl who suffer from horrific psych issues and HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE HORRIBLE PLACES!! If you understand what I’m talking about then run from this guy. He’s arrogant and disconnected from his patients.
