Texas Arthritis Center's Online Review Report Card

The staff is completely horrible at answering phone calls and returning messages. They never submitted anything to my insurance so I have been getting alot of medical bills. I have called and leaving messages to get it cleared up but no one has answered or returned my calls. I never saw the rheumatologist and who I did see put me on medication that completely messed up my thyroid so I need to see an endocrinologist now. I will never go back and I don't recommend going here.

Unfortunately, my experience hasn't been that great. The front office is either overwhelmed and short staffed or just doesn't want to answer the phone. There is no urgency when a patient calls asking for help because they are in pain or in the middle of a flare up. It seems like they would rather let the patient suffer until their next appointment. They leave you feeling hopeless and even worse than you already feel, like they don't care. Their closed on Fridays...maybe opening all days of the week would help all of the above and even allow for emergency visits for suffering patients. This is my experience with the Eastside office, unsure if the other office operates more smoothly.

My daughter has juvenile arthritis they have been delaying her shots for over a month .she is in a lot of pain and can barely walk they need to quit doing this to children they never answer there phone horrible service

A most positive and uplifting experience. Care, sensitivity and knowledge in helping RA patients to the road to a productive and happier life. Transformative. His back-room staff in the Infusion Center is very attentive. Wonderful all around experience. A 4+ in my book. Thank you Dr. Chabra.

Be prepared that you most likely will not be seen by a doctor but rather nurse practitioners or doctors assistants for those who would like to see a physician. They never answer the phone, neither in the front desk or the back with the medical assistants. In my experience, the diagnosis and treatment option was not clear and the assistant did not allow patient input in the treatment option. She simply asked “why not”?? When asked about the treatment. Unfortunately, there’s limited, substandard care and resources in El Paso.

Started off really well but it's next to impossible to get the PAs on the phone. I had concerns about how I was feeling physically. Called it in and get a call back a day later. I am told my medicine is being switched without ever hearing from the PA. The MA wasn't going to give any further information and was annoyed that I asked for a call back with more information. At this time she also let me know that unfortunately PA Miramontes was very busy and would probably not have time to call me back anytime soon. Super disappointed. I just wanted to talk to them and see if I could get blood work redone to check my levels, instead they try to stick me on some pricer medication without ever consulting the actual patient.

After being in so much pain for almost 2years I was referred to Dr.chabra and was seen by one of his assistants Miguel. It was such a blessing to finally get seen and treated. Staff is absolutely friendly and understanding. Miguel was compassionate and listened to all my concerns and didn't treat me like a hypochondriac. I was given medication that started easing my pains. They are such a blessing to have as Drs.I will forever be grateful for Texas Arthritis Center.

10/21/2022 update continues to be very severely sick and dr Sanyay Chabra is heading a group of physicians at the Mayo Clinic for my treatment If you want to get better with any autoimmune disease dr in El Paso you have to see him Old will start off by saying, I am very sick and disabled with 3 severe autoimmune diseases, I used to be a pharmacist so have a very good understanding of medications and the best and appropriate care. I believe Dr. Chabra is one of the best Rheumatologist in the country. He is compassionate, empathetic, he listens, always have a plan of action. I see many specialists and Dr. Chabra is the only one out of them that completely understands my conditions and how it affects everything in my body. I could barely walk when I started going to him. I walk better and my quality of life is better (not great cause I am very sick) he is still not satisfied and is working to get me injections that will help me more, that my insurance will not pay for. Dr. Chabra always puts me at ease where most dr’s and specialists freaks out visibly when they see me or have to treat me. Him and his office definitely goes above and beyond and for the amount of time I spend in dr’s offices of which I have 9 different specialists and doctors I feel I would be a fair judge of their service especially considering my medical background. Dr. Chabra and his office are Godsend to me!

Dr. Chabra is an awesome doctor! In between visits, I have had issues, the nurse practitioner got right back to me and discussed my treatment plan and options, said if it continued I could see the doctor. I have never had any problems with him or his staff. He is a very caring doctor who listens and seems to truly want to help you feel better. I was in so much pain when I first went to him, now I can live my life relatively pain free.

All good reviews are fake. Don’t help with FMLA or Disability. Even for refills pharmacy has trouble reaching them. Front desk doesn’t listen…. Chabra is always too busy to help patients, excuse is always that he is behind on patients. Has too many patient to actually give good service, you will never get a call back on a question.
