List of Larry Jinks's Reviews
I took my 87 year old father in today this was was the second time I seen him he wanted me to go to the waiting room and leave my father with him he doesn't understand medicine or what's going on about this kind of thing I have medical power of attorney I explained it to him that I have to be in the room with him he said no I told him then we would leave I would give him a zero all of our doctors for years now that we use for my dad have never done anything like this I go in with with him and I love all of his other doctors we will be looking for another primary I was trying to find one in Ennis because I have a good one in Dallas but it was so far to drive.
My family and I went to Dr.Jinks a few years ago when we lived in Bardwell Texas he’s great. Very caring compassionate man. My then husband was ill and we went to the ER and they said “oh it’s just a chest cold”.Dr.Jinks found he had cracked ribs and pneumonia. If I stilled lived in the area he would still be my Dr. Thanks Larry got everything Melanie Summers
Very bad customer service!. Call to set a appointment put me in hold for long time.
Never knew which doctor you would see. He was mercurial. Often insulting and was not a good listener. Refused to forward my complete medical file to my new doctor.
Dr. Jinks has been is a good doctor that will listen as well as treat. A very caring person.
Dr. Jinks saved my dad's life. He was able to figure out within a few minutes what the ER missed in 2 different visits. He said "experience was on his side"! lol He also ran his labs and had my dad's result within 30 minutes from the lab in his office which made it so much easier when we were transferred to the hospital to show them exactly what was going on. I am now switching myself, hubby and kids to seeing him and his NP Merle from now on!
Dr. Jinks is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He diagnosed my father in law and saved his life when 2 other docs and the ER couldn't figure out what was wrong with his stomach. I have seen him for check ups and refills and he is always caring, professional, and the fact I can get lab and x-ray in the office without having to go down to the hospital is soooo Convenient!! Saves a lot of time when you're a working mom. I would recommend Dr. Jinks to anyone who wants top notch care!
QUACK. An intermittant minister, a dangerous occasional liposucton beginning practice, and a beginning psychologist. HE should see a psychologist. He doesn’t seem to have a real direction in life trying an new way to make money. Only 62 and he and his obese wife look much older and are most unhealthy both in body and in mind. Avoid this man and you will be much better off. With an unbalanced temper, and limited problem solving skills, he is confused by the most simple issues. AVOID him.
Wait time is ridiculous. Wait 45 + mins to see doctor then get 15 mins face time.
My 81 yr old grandmother went to him and he didnt do anything for her but give her the run around. He wouldnt eveb give her any oain meds, she was very active and worked full time and just one day she was down. They still haven't got her and appointment and he goes on vacation! Now its another two weeks or longer to get a new doctor! Seriously! Wow this is how we treat our hard working elders. Disgraceful! I highly recommended people to NOT go to this doctor or this clinic! Ridiculous!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
