Kent Dickson's Online Review Report Card

I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery Dr. Dickson performed on my elbow. I only wish I'd done it sooner. For several appointments I requested to see Dr. Dickson (not a PA) and there was never a problem with that. Various staff members told me to feel free to jot down notes when I was given verbal instructions, which I did. I'm just so thankful to be back to my normal activities.

If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would give Dr Dickson and his nurse such a score. I was seen by Dr Neil a week before and was so grateful for his and Michael's help with my knees. The facility is modern, so clean and has beautiful decor. The staff at the front desk are warm and welcoming. But sadly, Dr Dickson changed our view of the clinic as a whole. He has a severely poor beside-manner to the point of being hostile, offensive and cruel. At one point he turned to my husband and asked "Do you ever want to take her out in a field and shoot her? Even if it was his attempt at humor, he should keep that kind of joke to himself. I am no stranger to medical care, multiple back surgeries which have left me disabled, I just completed three years of care for breast cancer and now approaching 60 yrs old, I have begun the decline of bone and joints complaints equivalent to my age. My husband and I have met all those challenges with humor and a positive disposition which has served us well. I mention all of this so one might understand our involvement in care and the sheer number of doctors, nurses and procedures we participated in. All of this in mind, makes Dr Dicksons behavior shocking in comparison.

So I was the lucky lottery winner of avascular necrosis. Not typical, but a couple of bones in my wrist joint collapsed, requiring total wrist fusion. The diagnosis process was good, and Dr Dickson took plenty of time explaining to me, in , condition. Only real option for long term relief was surgery. Both he and his assistant took the time to walk me through what was going to happen and what to expect. Surgery was here at the surgical center and went well. It's been 3 months, and the healing is going as well as it can be. He and his staff have been nothing but professional to me, and I'm thankful they were there for me throughout the process. I highly recommend him and his staff. Do not be afraid to see him and ask questions.

Would not recommend. Set our cast incorrectly, had to go to another dr to have it cut off and corrected.

This was my first visit and it was the worst visit EVER! He's RUDE! He has NO BEDSIDE MANNER or even decent human being manners! POMPOUS and ARROGANT don't begin to describe him. There are no words for this visit except annoyance, frustration and disgust. If Nancy Reagan taught us anything, it's to "JUST SAY NO".

He has anger problems. He must be under a lot of stress because he can not handle what you have to say. He feels threatened and he responds angry when you tell him your opinion. He literally walked away during consultation and I was left speechless and without any answers.

Getting an appointment was Easy. Very friendly staff. Very efficient in letting you know what will happen next in the appointment. Straightforward checking out process. Dr Dicksons PA was friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr Dickson is absolutely wonderful. He's treated my thumb with injections. Works perfectly now. So impressed I've returned with a shoulder issue. Very conservatively treating with a top notch therapy group upstairs. If ya need an x-ray, just walk down the hall. Everything is so efficient. Even the artwork & decorations throughout area pleasing. Staffing has been phenomenal. Now I take my mother & father in law.

Dr.Dickson is not personable and doesn’t seem to really care about the patient. Very eager to do surgery, I believe he does good work but leading up to that and spending time with a patient to understand what’s going on needs work. His team is the worst though and so is the office, multiple scheduling and billing issues and give you the run around! Search elsewhere and save yourself the trouble!
