Dr. Willenborg was great with me from beginning to end. He was quick, thorough, and didn’t keep me waiting. My ankle is back to where it was before my injury. I expected some kind of issue/problem that I would have to learn to live with, but I have none of those. I am able to work out again and can even get back into working out without worries. I was able to walking on my ankle 6 weeks after surgery.

Outstanding experience with Dr. Willenborg and his team. Very knowledgeable, responsive, caring, and professional. I received top notch care from start to finish, and won't hesitate to recommend him to anyone that needs an orthopedic foot expert. Dr Willenborg has been great all through my ankle surgery and rehab. We tried non-surgical first then finally did surgery. I appreciated that we didn’t just rush to do surgery. I will use him again if need be!

I have been seeing Dr Willenborg for several years for the arthritis in my feet. He has prescribed injections over surgery. Was clear with me that surgery would be a very long and unpleasant recovery , I am very happy with his treatment plan. I can walk as much as I would like.

For many years I’ve had ankle/foot/achilles issues. When something new happened with my leg and I was really, really scared of potentially needing surgery but my family and friends said I needed to make an appointment regardless. I didn’t tell anyone of my surgery fears at Orthopedic Associates. Dr. Willenborg was so incredibly kind during the consult. He had no idea how much I was sweating this appointment or that I canceled a few other appointments just to avoid hearing what I thought an orthopedic surgeon would say. It was an hour drive for me and I only arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment. The front desk was SO kind. I waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. From front to back everyone was amazing and kind here! Dr. Willenborg was AWESOME! He was super informative, and said physical therapy instead of forcing some surgery on me. I really appreciate no nonsense/to the point doctors who help rather than asking about how awesome your day was. The whole process was so incredibly smooth. Dr. Willenborg was so professional, kind and caring. If you need orthopedic help and are doubting like I was - Orthopedic Associates is amazing!

Dr. Willenborg is simply outstanding. Has provided great relief for my great toe and he and his first assistant Michael Burns have laid out a plan that I am very comfortable with and confident will provide a long term solution.

I was recommended Dr. Willenborg as an expert in Achilles tendon repair. I am an avid bicyclist so opted for the surgery and follow up PT. It’s been 6 months and I am back riding outside doing nearly 100 miles a week. He and his staff and the PT people have all been first class!!
