All of the nurses at Baylor All Saint were Amazing except for the one that tried to kill me. My triple bypass surgery was on Sunday November 9th. Every thing we well I was up and walking that afternoon. Monday again I was up and walking around the ICU. On Tuesday morning early my doctor came to visit me. He said everything looked good and I would be transferred to a room later that day. I walked around ICU that morning. Around 10:00. My condition changed I don’t know what happened but I crashed. My oxygen levels dropped. The elevated my oxygen level to 4. The oxygen alarms went off constantly. Around 7:00pm my wife went home shortly after her departure a nurse came in and told me that they were going to move me a room. I tried to explain my condition had changed and I was not well I should not be moved. I told the I would scream and objected to be moved. Several other nurses came to the trying to convince me that I was stable and could be moved. I became more excited. I felt that I was going to die. A very unpleasant woman came into my room got it my face and said “ Mr ______ we are going to move you at 8:00 or security would move you at 10:00”. At that point I was very upset. I was sedated to the point I can not remember being moved to a Room at 8:00pm. When I woke I explained to my nurse that I thought I was going to die. This was late Tuesday. Wednesday all day my oxygen alarms went going off constantly. They were talking about sending me home on Thursday. I repeated explain that I felt terrible as though I was going to die. One of the nurses suggested that maybe I had fluid on my lung. Causing my oxygen levels to be low. On Thursday morning a head nurse came into my room saying she had been a nurse for over 20 years and there was no fluid on my lungs. She showed me a recent x-Ray. She said that they were going to send me the basement and do a sonogram to confirm her reading of my X-Ray. I went to the basement a nurse completed the sonogram. She yes there was fluid she couldn’t tell how much but the would drain it. After about 20 minutes the fluid was drained. She commented she had not gotten it all but 100 or 200 Mila liters would be absorb by my body. They drained 900 Mila liters of fluid from my right lung area. That is a liter of fluid. After that I began to feel better. I remain in the hospital Thursday and Friday and discharged on Saturday. I know that they would have sent me home on Thursday with a litter of fluid on my lung I would have died. My wife would have had to sue the hospital for wrong full death .

I gave birth at Baylor Scott and White! It was truly the best experience of my life. The nursers and doctors were fabulous!!

The nursing and support staff were caring, helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. Facilities were comfortable and overall a pleasant experience for a medical need.

Use caution delivering here… My experience at this hospital has been incredibly frustrating and, at times, dismissive. When my original OB abruptly closed his practice at 28 weeks, my care was transferred to a high risk provider and then to 8th Ave OBGYN where I wasn’t able to be accepted as a patient until 32 weeks. The doctor I’m currently seeing delivers out of Baylor. Since then, I’ve repeatedly been sent home despite ongoing symptoms and a complicated history. I have been experiencing regular contractions for weeks, decreased fetal movement, a very tight abdomen, severe swelling, exhaustion, and intermittent pain. I’ve also previously had a uterine tear without vaginal bleeding, which I clearly communicated. Despite this, I was told to “wait for my water to break or for vaginal bleeding,” even though my medical history shows that bleeding is not always present with complications. This is my fourth child. This is not typical medical advice from the last care provider I had. The care team has repeatedly positioned my concerns as me wanting an early, convenience-based c-section, which is simply not true. My concerns have always been about safety—for myself and my baby. I’ve also been told I’m “not high risk” because a high-risk provider declined my transfer, which feels like gaslighting, considering my symptoms and history. At each visit I am discharged even when contractions were 10-15 minutes apart for hours at a time. And again at about 4-5 minutes apart. I am being pushed toward a December 4th delivery date, but I have not been given clear guidance on when I should actually return or what symptoms should prompt immediate evaluation beyond the generic “bleeding or water breaking.” The nurses we’ve had were great after meeting with Dr. Wylie we didn’t feel comfortable staying after our interaction. Overall, I feel unheard, minimized, and unsafe under the current management of my care. I am seeking clarity, consistency, and a plan that takes my history and current symptoms seriously.

I had been here only once before so I parked in the wrong place for valet parking. I was ignored a long time until I exited the car and walked up to the vacant valet desk. A man walked up and asked if he could help me. I said I needed my car parked so he agreed to take care of it.

My husband went in for a biopsy. Everything went according to plan. Every person we encountered was so very kind, helpful, professional. The experience could not have gone better. Thank you so much!

I have been sitting in the ER lobby over three hours with only a triage done. I am here for shortness of breath and they are going to rule out a blood clot in my lungs. No tests have been done and I have been to the window five times. This is absolutely ridiculous!
