List of Bluestem Village's Reviews
Great experience moving in. Very friendly staff. Beautiful apartment. Friendly neighbors. Easily the best place I’ve ever lived. Very happy to be here.
Beautiful apartments, attentive staff, they make rules because it keeps the apartments presentable. Very quiet, could use more covered parking but overall a safe, convenient place to live.
DON’T MOVE HERE. Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional with their tenants. People do not clean up after their dogs. They constantly are watching your balcony. You literally have no privacy, everyone is in your business. The walls are super thin, cheaply made apartments. They have “quiet hours” starting at 10pm literally college dorm living super strict rules. They took my security deposit for normal wear on the carpet. Did I mention the staff was rude and unprofessional? Just don’t move here. There’s way better properties in the city.
They will charge you for carpet rear and tear and eat your deposit. we stayed for 1 year and there was no evidence of rear and tear when we ask for pictures they didnt provide. they charge us extra plus didnt return our deposit when we left with rude behavior. I would not recommend this place
The property is well maintained & staff is beyond exceptional. I love the pool area and the gym is very nice and has a decent amount & nice equipment, you are sure to get a work out. I love the features of the apartment I just think I personally need more room but I had a budget that I wanted to stay within. Maintenance requests are responded to very quickly, even though I haven’t had to make very many the ones that I did were answered very promptly . My biggest gripe with the property is that there are no elevators. Actually none of their properties have elevators. I did not find this out until a few days before move in. Part of that wass due on the big snow storm where much of Texas lost power. So living on the third floor and grocery shopping is a miserable experience. Having to make multiple trips especially if you’re not feeling well is not ideal. Using the stairs has actually aggravated and made a condition more chronic and I’m an active person. I was told I could transfer to another unit however it’s going to be at the current market value, well that is great but I don’t see myself transferring to another one bedroom upwards in the amount of $200-$600 of what I pay now to go to the first floor. So while I do enjoy many of the amenities and features of the apartment I unfortunately don’t see myself staying here which is even more unfortunate because location is everything and again the staff is great.
My family and I lived in Tacara Village for about 6 months and overall we really enjoyed our time. The staff was always polite and attentive, the grounds are very well maintained and the amenities are very convenient. The pool and pool area are beautiful and maintained very well, the mail center is very convenient, someone comes by and takes out the trash on week days. The only things that they could work to improve is the parking. It is a first-come-first-serve system, so if you get home late, you usually have to park far away from your building. There are parking spaces and garages that can be rented, but there were none available and a long wait list. I met people that had 2-3 garages, which shouldn't be allowed, since there were a lot of people waiting. The same goes for the assigned parking spaces. Other than that, it was easily the best place I have rented a place from, and I've been around.
Don't move here. The office staff is terrible and does not care about the tenants. I was charged for normal wear on carpet and light dust upon moving out and nobody could explain to me why it was reasonable to withhold my security deposit and didn't provide any pictures upon asking. Staff was unwilling to help on numerous occasions and very difficult to get a hold of.
This place is awesome! Grounds are kept beautifully. The Staff is amazing maintenance team and office. The pool is something out of a catalog
Tacara is a beautiful place! I am moving here for my new job and checked out over 15 places in the area and Tacara was the best fit for me. Moving a big distance definitely makes it more challenging and I have been emailing so much with one of the front desk ladies, Ashleigh, who has been THE most helpful. Always positive and warm and I ask a TON of questions. But each time she has been so helpful in making sure I have what I need. You can live anywhere but the service can make or break and thus far I have been so grateful for the wonderful service and time the staff has given me.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! The office staff is super unprofessional, they don’t care about their residents at all. We paid a pet deposit then they claim our dog is against breed restrictions AFTER we paid $500. We live on the 3rd floor and it’s terrible. People watching your balcony, it reeks of marijuana. No one cleans up after their dogs. Also there is no such thing as privacy people are snitches and always in others business.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
