Christian Lance's Online Review Report Card

People who say they accept the insurance during a phone conversation but then refuse to accept it when met face to face... And not to mention their insistence on not deleting all the information I provided about myself.

This doctor over inserts herself into your background, makes judgment and tries to relate stories of her own children, who have ADHD, to a 40 year old woman (me) who also has ADHD. I’ve been on the same medications for ADHD for over a decade, which is verifiable with anyone’s Prescription History and when I switched to her in March (came from another Village Medical office in Houston), she refused to continue the same treatment for ADHD that my previous doctor had been prescribing me for 10 years. She tried to force me onto a non-stimulant based medication called Straterra because she “has experience since her kids are ADHD”. Refused to continue prescribing me Adderall because of “licensing issues with the state” but allowed me to stay on my Vyvanse. Then, when I picked up an insurance plan with Ambetter, which she doesn’t take, she refused to see me as a cash pay, out of network patient and her nurse staff claimed I would be committing insurance fraud yet they couldn’t define how its fraud. So they called me and canceled my appointment 30 minutes before it was to start. I sell health insurance. I know exactly what I can and cannot do with my plan. BUT THEN, get this…they tried to refer me to a Nurse Practitioner in their office who DOES take my insurance but she won’t prescribe the medications I need. Who is committing fraud now… Recommending to doctors for needless claims knowingly and trying to bill me for services that can’t be performed. What the hell kind of practice are you running over there?? To anyone reading this, stick with doctors who don’t practice out of a Walgreens.

Dr. Lance is the BEST family medicine doctor I've ever had. I came to her from Raleigh, NC five years ago. Her greatest asset is that she listens and takes action. Unfortunately, she is leaving to move to Fort Worth. Lucky people that get her as their doctor! My ?? is breaking!!!!!!

I don't think I've ever had a worse doctor's appointment or worse level of care than I did with Dr. Lance. I would NOT recommend her to anyone for any reason. She wrote all of my concerns with my son's health off due to the fact that I am still breastfeeding and that he sleeps with me. She was rude, not at all personable, and seemed to be trying to rush me out of there the entire time. It was very obvious that she did not like that I had so many questions related to my son's HEALTH (you know, what we're there for!), and extensive family history. This was our first time seeing her, and she hardly even introduced herself when she came into the room. The front desk staff and nurses at this practice are great! But Dr. Lance? Absolutely not.

Dr. Lance has cared for me for many years. She is very thorough, listens and asks questions. She has many resources to determine if I need to see a specialist. Onsite lab and radiology is convenient in the event you need services immediately. I really like being cared for by a female physician. Thank you.

I've been seeing Dr. Lance since she started practicing in Terrell. She is the best of the best IMO. She listens very well. Most Dr's make you feel like since they're the MD they know your body better than you do. Not Dr. Lance. She takes as much time as needed to actually listen to you. If it's something out of her field she doesn't mind telling you so. She has referred me to some awesome specialty doctors. Usually the specialist confirmed her "guess" diagnosis. She is family oriented and truly cares about her patients. You are not a number to her, nor treated like a herd of cattle rushed in and out. Her staff is awesome as well. Her explanations are in detail and written down so that you understand them completely. I would recommend her any day of the week.

Just love her she is the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
