List of Dfw Urology Consultants's Reviews
I see very mixed opinions and I wanted to share my personal opinion. As I always provide honest feedback and positive and negative reviews. However I wanted to explain my experience last week for the first time meeting doctor Hey, and his nurse. I was pleasantly greeted by the front staff, I was asked to take a seat which I did. A short time later the nurse came out to get me and within a short time later I saw the doctor. I found him to be very pleasant, assertive, with a great bedside manner. He was very direct with my diagnosis and offered which treatments we would find suitable. I do know that when you call the office that you always receive the answering machine. This may be a setback for some people. However, please know that I have left many messages already, lol and they always return my call usually the same day if not the next following morning. I have found them to be very follow up oriented in my personal experience and they are now appealing my insurance company who is of course rejecting my course of treatment. Shame on you Blue Cross Blue Shield. I don't know All the procedures that this facility performs. However, I feel as though I was treated with the most highest respect and dignity with personal matters. And the best part of all is that my nurse, who I won't mention her name out of respect hugged me at least three times because she was so willing to accommodate my anxiety and make me feel comfortable. I had an immediate connection with both nurses I've dealt with there and when does a nurse reach out and give you a much-needed hug in this day and age? That made my day and was very calming to say the least. I will never forget this. I would give these people 10 stars if I could. I hope those of you that have unhappy experiences are able to work them out and hopefully change your position and or get relief from the ordeal you may be dealing with. God bless you all. I highly recommend this facility.
People that are in the medical profession should have a heart for the patient. It is so much better for the patient's. Time is valuable to everyone, LEARN how to schedule appointments. 3 hours to wait for an appointment scheduled is so unnecessary and unprofessional and uncaring
Dr. Hey is a blessed urologist and has taken wonderful care of me... My bladder cancer doesn't seem so scary because of him
Greatest uti doctor ever and staff
Hey Sr ruined my life with a horrible vasectomy procedure I've never experienced so much horrible pain after the procedure
Dr. Hey is a fantastic doctor. He really cares about his patients and is very thorough. He personally called to check on my girlfriend after her procedure and to make certain that she had received her prescriptions. He is also a very friendly and nice guy.
DR. Hey JR. has been so helpful with a compassion for patients that are not his. Dr. Hey helped me get my dad transferred by care flight to Medical City Arlington and get the neurosurgery that he needed! My whole family are thankful for Dr. Hey with him going above and beyond to help people!!!!!
Dr Hey is a kind Dr, just started seeing him.
I've had nothing but great hospitality and service from Dr. Hey and staff. Always outstanding !
What is the point of making an appointment when they make you wait over an hour to be called into a room to wait longer and only be seen for 5-10 minutes? This place needs to drastically improve on seeing patients in a timely manner. Patients time is just as valuable as the doctor's time and there are plenty of other urologists to go to. So done with this place.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
