I've been visiting Eighth Ave OBGYN for years and have always had a good experience. My huge issue lately is how difficult it is to reach someone at this office. You simply have to hope you will be available for when they eventually call you back, which is difficult for those of us who work full time and cannot be attached to our cell phones throughout the day. I called on June 8 to schedule my prenatal visit, and thankfully was able to take the call when it came through later that day, but was not able to schedule an appointment at that time according to the staff. Sadly I'm writing this review a month later without having anything scheduled or speaking with anyone directly about an appointment. No matter when I call, I get voicemail. It's so frustrating to feel left in the dark without a point of contact or direct care. I've attempted to provide as much detail in my voicemails regarding my concern (birthdate, LMP, which Dr. I currently see, etc.) and I'm hoping someone reaches out to me before too long. EDIT: Another week has gone by and I've heard nothing from this office. It's simply unethical at this point to ignore a patient. I would never recommend this office to anyone I care about based on this experience. Absolutely awful. EDIT: July 28, 2026 and still no contact from this office despite multiple attempts.

My wife and I were blessed to have Dr. Wood during our entire pregnancy journey. Dr. Wood was everything you want when you’re first time parents. We had so many questions and Dr. Wood always had the answer. She was kind, personable, and you could tell she’s the best at what she does. The visits never felt rushed, she always gave us the time of day and reassured us everything was going to work out just fine! I can’t say this enough - if you don’t have a doctor already choose Dr. Wood. 10/10 experience - we will be repeat patients god willing 🤣

Impossible to get ahold of anyone. They don’t have a receptionist or any staff that answers the phone. You have to leave a message and maybe you will receive a call back. But after many attempts, going on weeks now, no such luck. Even as an established patient.

Honestly, if I hadn't put so much money into this I would've changed clinics already. Dr robins is great but the clinic never answers the phone or gives a call back. And the lady in charge of drawing blood on the first floor is so RUDE. she ruined my experience with this clinic. I hope I never have to get service with her again.

My lab technician Aaliyah was incredibly kind and helpful to me. I went into getting my blood drawn stressed out, but she put me at ease! So thankful for that experience.

This has been the best experience. I used Dr. Robbins for my past pregnancy and it was absolutely the best experience. I plan to use her again even though I have moved much further away. No one else I would trust with the Gynecology and OB care.
