Nice atmosphere and can visit with family with no interference or distraction

I stopped by this bar randomly on my way out to South Padre. So it's really sad that I possibly will never come here again. But I wanted to give this place a shout out. Gretchen and Brandy are really cool people. The food was yummy. The drinks were good. The prices were decent. 10/10

From the moment I walked in, there was a warm and inviting feeling. Residents were playing a game of poker and another group was playing dominoes. There were a couple of residents by the fireplace reading the newspaper. There was an activity being set up in the bistro. I was greeted by several staff members as I walked through the building. At one point, I asked a gentleman if he likes living there. He told me that he has been there almost 4 years, the food is good, there is always something to do. He said they take really good care of them and they treat the residents like family. Overall, this place is beautiful; clean, decorated beautifully, active, looked to have no shortage of friendly staff, residents out in several areas, enjoying some type of activity. I’ve visited several places around this one and this is definitely the one to call home.

My brother has been a resident here for several years, both in the assisted living and memory care facilities. The staff is friendly, warm, helpful and always called him by name. The facility is comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the food is wonderful. Overall, highly recommended.

They bartender Brandy likes to fuck everyone including married men and break homes up . Watch you man if you go there because she is whore that don't care about families

If you want fresh American style chow, then look no further than The Singing Chef, aka Sammy Fox.  He knows his way around the kitchen.  My family and me recently went there on Dec 4 and enjoyed a fantastic lunch.   The friendly waitresses greeted us as we walked in. We started with a sampler of the pork rinds; those cracklins were fresh from the fryer and served hot with a side of chorizo loaded queso. This appetizer is tasty but it also is HUGE; be sure to bring a friend or two to help with!  After that we ordered a mix of burgers & onion rings and chicken strips with fries.  The burgers were cooked to perfection!   My wife and I both thought the onion rings were delicious; they were sweet onions cooked to a golden brown with just the right amount of crunchy good news that makes you go back for more.   My daughter reported the chicken strips and fries were top notch - she said they were equal to Chic-fil-a in her opinion.  So high praise from her. During our meal the chef came out several times to see how we were doing and chat with us; Sammy shared lots stories and made us feel right at home! Our drinks (tea, coke, etc.)  were constantly refilled without any delay;  the waitstaff made our day with their top notch service and excellent recommendations.  It ain't fancy.  It ain't high dollar.  Yes, it's a bar.  It has great food.  It has great service.   I highly encourage you to get them a try.

This community took wonderful care of my husband, they are kind and caring. Made me feel at home each time I came to visit him. I would recommend to anyone.

My mother lives at this facility. When we first moved her there the quality and service and cleanliness were acceptable. Every year they raise the rent but the services have declined to an unacceptable level. They don’t seam to have anyone that can do maintainance of the apartments on weekends or holidays. We visited my mother on Christmas Day and her toilet was stopped up and the trash was overflowing the trash cans.A few weeks ago we noticed a swarm of ants in the laundry room. We reported this to the receptionist and she told us nothing could be done until Monday because there was no one on maintenance duty. We reported the ants on a Friday afternoon.

I would not recommend sending your loved ones here. They are always understaffed therefore they dont have enough time to get around to all of the residents and are very irritable and rude. Also, the management doesnt have enough time to get out and talk with the residents. Overall, not a great facility. This could be changed if they hired more staff.
