If I could give 0 stars, I would. First off- it took nearly 3 months to get an appointment. I was first told that they needed records, which is understandable. However, I couldn't bring them, they had to be faxed from my current dr. I did that and was told repeatedly that they never received the m. I then asked if my PCP could send them since my current pain dr sends them reports every time he saw me? I was told by Southwest Sports that wasn't allowed. Finally, my PCP intervened and South Sports accepted the records. The next hurdle was insurance. I was told during the very first call that they accepted my insurance. Then, I would get multiple voicemails during the record transfer informing me that they didn't accept my insurance??? It never changed. Finally, I received an appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early for an 8:30a appointment...even though I filled out the paperwork online. I was given nothing but grief once we arrived. After an hour, and nearly the entire waiting room (who arrived after myself) being called back ahead of me- I was taken to a patient room. Waited another 10 minutes. I was switched from the Dr I requested (Menzies) and placed with Garza. Absolutely the worst dr visit I've ever encountered. This man talked so much and never made a point or answered a direct question. (He talked with his eyes closed, which was very odd.) Didn't seem to be a fan of medication, even though this is one thing I've come to rely on on between joint revisions, Fibromyalgia, and other numerous types of surgeries. I don't mind having procedures, but I have to have general anesthesia so often for major surgeries I try to balance meds and surgeries/procedures. The dr really did seem to have an opinion of me and what he was and wasn't willing to do before he walked in the door. Dr. Garza even tried to pull the wool over my eyes by explaining one of THEIR office practices on state law. Boy did he pick the wrong girl! I know the state laws as my current pain is very transparent when TX updates the law for scheduled medications. Overall, this was just a poor patient experience and I wouldn't recommend Dr. Garza to anyone who genuinely needs help with pain control options. You will be utter disappointed and will have wasted a bunch of time.

Amazing doctor would recommend him to anyone he will help with all needs
I couldn’t be happier Dr Garza and his staff have been excellent! Couldn’t be happier
Dr Garza & Associate take time to understand everything that is going on for me. Their compassion & care have made a difference in several areas of my life. My Doctors there are also GOoD Hearted Christian professional. That makes a big difference to some like me.
Dr Garza is an AMAZING and compassionate man. My 1st bisit he actually sat and listened to all of my concerns and I've got a lengthy and complicated medical history. That may sound like a small thing but I assure you that it is not! Unfortunately I have experienced many Drs that want to rush you in and out like cattle. Your just a number. But not with Dr Garza! His nurse staff is amazing as well. Very friendly and compassionate as well. I would recommend Dr Garza to anyone that needs the kind of specialty care that he provides!
I have been seeing Dr Garza for over 5 years now and by far he is the best pain Dr in Fort Worth. His staff is friendly and very efficient. Dr GarZa takes his time and listens to every word I say and responds in terms I can understand. He is not afraid to treat chronic pain however he is not a script writing Doctor as many I saw before him. He is the real deal and cares tremendously about his patients I tell everyone I know that has a serious pain issue to see Dr Mark GarzA. I am Blessed to have him as my doctor.
Dr Garza and his staff are the most unprofessional people I have ever met.He treats his patients like they are criminals. He absolutely doesn’t care about his patients and let’s his office staff run the show. Will never be going back there and anyone else that decides to go there.I hope you like feeling bad about yourself when you leave there other wise go somewhere else
Dr. Garza has to be the most unprofessional "Dr" I have ever met. I have been a pain management patient for 13 years. My previous Dr of 12 years, drastically reduced my pain medication..thus resulting in severe withdrawal, 100% bedridden, and 0 quality of life. I went to Dr Garza for any kind of help, even surgery..anything that will give me even a tiny bit of quality of life. He walked in the room and started spewing that he will not help me with medication, will not help me with the withdrawal because of the previous Dr...all because I just started on an antidepressant 3 weeks ago, BECAUSE OF THE PAIN. I would not need to be on an antidepressant if my PAIN of 13 years was back under control. He did not even do an exam..his mind was made up before he walked in. He offered no other alternatives, which at this point, I am open to anything! Nope, he refused to even discuss anything with me. What has happened to Doctors that care..not to mention the sacred oath they took to "Do No Harm"...what a joke that oath has become. It's all about money.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
