Caution to all local veterans: Do not let QTC or the VA schedule your medical imaging appointments at North Star Diagnostics. I was forced to take time off work and drive 40 minutes out here, only to be shuffled between facilities, sit in an empty waiting room for 20 minutes, and then ultimately be completely REFUSED SERVICE. The facility flat-out stated they are refusing to see veterans. They turned me away and turned away another veteran right after me for the exact same reason. On top of that, their building's electricity was failing and cutting out the entire time I sat there. Unprofessional, completely uncoordinated, and an absolute waste of working hours for people who served. Avoid this location at all costs.

They always take me straight back and really help me with my anxiety over getting an MRI. I truly appreciate the tech who helped calm me down and was so sweet yesterday.

Staff was very pleasant. Zero wait time. Facility was very clean. Price was waaaaay cheaper than anything we were quoted by urgent care places. Most impressive was the result turn around of TWO HOURS!

I was sent to this location to get a sonogram for my abdominal pain. I made an appointment on Tuesday over the phone, and the lady on the phone that made my appointment and ran my insurance told me that my copay will be $65. Then the day of my appointment I showed up to a front office that’s dark with the two receptionists. The one I talked to was rude…she didn’t smile or greet me professionally. Then tell me to sit down and wait..like I am someone child. Last I remember I am 50yrs old. I don’t need to be talk to like that. Then she called me up to tell me I owed $116 for the copay. I wasn’t please to hear that it was more then I was told over the phone. Especially when they gotten my insurance over the phone and verified already, and should have already know my copay cost. The sonogram tech was nice. And the place was clean. That’s the only positive. Next time I will go elsewhere. I am going through the unknown with my health, and I need to be treated with compassion. Not like how the girl up there at the front desk.

I recently had my annual mammogram and the front desk and the nurse were very kind and respectful. I’m glad for that!!! My concern is the price🧐 I provide my insurance and I’m sure if it didn’t cover the mammogram but I received a bill for $1,000 😳 that’s extremely high!!! Others centers can do it for $180 without insurance and $90 with insurance, I chose The North Start Diagnostic Imaging because my insurance referred to me. I don’t recommend because the cost!!!!!

I was referred to this new imaging place by a VA contractor for x-rays. The receptionist was friendly and I was escorted back to get my x-rays but the x-ray tech. She was nice as well. Everything went smoothly and I feel that the quality of care was good. The radiologist read my x-rays and got the report back within a day.

I am writing this review to acknowledge the good service provided by lab technician in this facility. I got my abdomen x-ray exam done in Feb 2025. I was referred to this facility by my PCP in consultation with Aetna, it was actually Aetna that had asked me to go to this facility and before I went there, I had called North Star Diagnostic, gave my Insurance detail and they clearly said only $21 co-pay from me and rest is covered by insurance. And now months after they sent me $500 bill and involved collection agency which keeps calling / texting and harassing me. Since North Star Diagnostic had made it absolutely clear to me beforehand that my insurance would cover it after co-pay which is why I went there in the first place, do I really have to go thru this collection agency harassment? Can anyone opine on this...
