Saraswathi Saiprasad's Online Review Report Card

Dr Saiprasad is the worst doctor I have ever had. She caused more health issues in me than I went in for. She denied the absurdly high dose of medication she put me on was the reason for my symptoms and I ended up only taking a half dose of the meds daily and it still threw me into severe hyperthyroidism. Even then she only lowered my dose a little after I fought with her. And half that lowered dose still gave me hyperthyroid symptoms. She did not schedule any other appointments with me so I had to take a canceled appointment to get in to see her. Then she berated me for not doing labs before the appointment. How was I supposed to do that without her ordering it? Then she refused to consider a different medication or lower dose even though clearly I'm not reacting well to this one. I had to argue and argue with her to lower my dose. I've never had to argue with a doctor before. Never going back.

Doctor is very nice and intelligent.. and all staff is nice too

Doctor is great but the staff and their follow-up is atrocious. For this alone I would not recommend. I have been waiting for a referral for over a month. Called office twice and the scheduler said she never received a response from back office of ppl who actually does the referrals (as if they aren’t in the SAME OFFICE)! Get up off your backside & take a walk down the hall…if need be. Had to cancel follow up appts to get results b/c staff lack of ability to follow through. It’s sad to finally find a doctor who has great bedside manners, thorough & knowledgeable to only find out the staff is lackadaisical & uncaring about the health of the patients who are the ones making it possible for them to get paid. Ugh!!!

My experience with Dr. Saiprasad was a great one. But first let me praise her front staff Jacky. She was extremely helpful and kind in understanding my concerns to get in and the frustrations I had from previous experiences from other Drs offices. She answered my questions and helped guide me on what was needed, she stayed calm and compassionate with each call I had. Dr. Saiprasad and her medical assistant were extremely kind. The Dr actually had my medical records pulled up and with each question or concern was able to reference back to them and gave me a plan on moving forward. As a specialist she did exactly what I would expect and more, she was honest with also what she didn’t do in her realm of practice to keep focus on certain specialties of hers. I highly recommend Dr. Sarawathi and her staff!!!

The doctor failed to provide sufficient information for me to make an informed decision about a surgical procedure. When I mentioned the procedure to my nephrologist, she provided me with crucial information that helped me make an informed decision about proceeding with the surgery. During a video visit, this doctor's demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive, leaving me feeling disrespected and unheard.
