List of Stacie L Bingaman's Reviews
I don’t post this review out of malice, but I post this because if I have an overtly bad or good experience with a business (especially medical) then I will post my experience. If Dr. Bingaman’s office reads this: I do not post reviews lightly. You absolutely cannot disrespect people who are coming to you for advice about how not to die on a constant basis, as well as the only customer basis for your niche of business. If you do not believe you disrespected me, please read with an open mind. TLDR: I was not fully listened to, was told what I was experiencing “is not true” (whatever her intention was with this phrasing, it was interpreted as a nice wording of “that’s a lie”), and on top of that, instead of trying to understand what my issues were, she said I didn’t have “proof” of my issues after looking at my CGM for a grand total of 2 minutes. First appointment: When I explained my issues to Dr. Bingaman, I was met with a rushed attitude (which I admit is totally ok with me if I’m given enough medical attention), but after listening to my issues of dealing with adverse effects to my insulin and diet, she decided to say “you just need more insulin”. I have been suffering from delayed insulin reaction, meaning my insulin will act anywhere between the desired time and 4 hours to work fully. It works differently every day. While I have tried everything under the sun from exercise, to changing insulin ratios, to changing insulin, to cutting 90% of my carbs, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt since I didn’t own a CGM to really justify what I was saying. I tried her regimen, and I went down to 50-60 for the next several nights. THIS IS NOT WHAT I’M MAD ABOUT. I understand she is trying her best with what she is given. I adjusted by myself and waited for my next appointment. I still experienced symptoms this entire time while still trying to adjust insulin ratios by myself. About 20% of her advice she gave me from appointment 1 worked (this being to switch my fast acting ratio only during the daytime). 2nd appointment: I come in, tell her I had to change the regimen almost immediately and then she asked for my CGM graphs. I re-explained my issues, telling her that I’m still experiencing insulin reaction delay; and she no joke, said “that’s not true” (to me explaining to her that my insulin has a delayed reaction most of the time). After some thought, I think she was trying to tell me “the way you’re saying it’s happening isn’t true, there’s another problem at play here”, but how can you expect me to interpret it like that when you tell me “that’s not true”? I thought she called me a liar to my face. While I see how she could’ve been trying to help me, she did NOT contain the patience or communication skills to articulate what she was trying to say. Which is a huge issue when dealing with people and telling them how to deal with a chronic illness. This was while she took a look at my CGM graphs. I’m not sure what she was looking at, because she told me “I don’t see proof of what you’re talking about”. She also told me “well since you didn’t stay on your regimen, I don’t know what to do”. Mind you, her tone was not nice either, but rather antagonistic. I proceeded to tell her that there’s been more than an abundant amount of times where this has happened, but I continued to be gaslit. She didn’t ask me when or to explain further. She simply told me what I was saying “wasn’t true”. Within 10 minutes into the call, Dr. Bingaman said “I don’t think I can help you…” so I immediately hung up before she could finish. She called back, and I ended up apologizing because I immediately felt guilty for hanging up and forgot about all the things I literally just experienced. She told me “I was going to say that I don’t think I can help you so maybe we can find someone else who can”. This didn’t redeem much for me considering she told me that was I experiencing wasn’t actually happening. READ PHOTO BELOW

Dr. Bingaman is a great endocrinologist. She always takes the time to answer my questions and gives great care. Definitely recommend her.
Very knowledgeable. Responds quickly to emails if you have any issues or questions. She was able to diagnose my acromegly and helped receive the treatments I needed. This is a rare disease most Drs are unaware of. She will do the research reqd to get as much info as possible. Yes it takes time to get into her schedule but worth the wait and red tape through jps.
SHE IS INTELLIGENT. SHE KNOWS HER PATIENT'S MEDICAL HISTORY VERY WELL. SINCE SEEING DR. BINGAMAN, MY A1C HAS DECREASED 50%. I WILL RECOMMED EVERYONE TO SEE DR. BINGAMAN, BECAUSE SHE IS JUST PLAIN AWESOME
