Surgical Specialty Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Go here if you don't want any pain relief at all or a good recovery plan. I am a 64y/o lady employed in a medical profession. I stepped in a hole and fell and had a "minor" break to arm. I religiously did the exercises the ER doc prescribed and worn a sling for three weeks. I followed up with these orthopedic as instructed. Between the fall and follow up here, I re-injured arm several times by lifting things. The muscle tension around my around my arm and entire neck became tight, spasms, miserable. I was hurting when I got an appointment here 37 days after fracture. At that time, was unable to continue the "pendolem" exercises ER doc prescribed due to pain. I informed these orthopedic specialists. The doc here agreed the neck and back muscle tensness were adding pain(even tho he never touched my body to diagnose this). Looked in my shirt at my shoulder.. what? Did not offer me a pain pill, a badly needed muscle relaxer or even suggest an exercise regimen which I expected orthopedic specialists to do . I didn't expect morphine. I did expect a stronger anti-inflammatory than ibuprofen or a mild pain pill like Tramadol or the badly needed muscle relaxer. I got nothing. Many sleepless nights changing out heat/ ice/elevation and not being able to SLEEP or keep up the exercise and I'm back to the sling. It's been over 60days now and I'm in more pain than ever. These specialist can't give you the common sense advise that you already have, not worth the 500.00+ they charge per visit. Just doctor yourself before you waste your time here. I have enough sense to know my "minor" fracture will heal on its own, eventually. I thought by seeing an orthopedic specialists I would be taking care myself, doing the advised thing, miss less work, be able to get and keep up a good exercise regimen and heal up fast with less pain. Ain't happening here. Just because some physicians have a history of inappropriately prescribing opiate's, prescribing them to each other or some ppl have abused prescription medications does not mean honest like me, with no history of drug abuse can't expect to be treated in appropriate ways for injuries.

Checked in at the kiosk , was called in after a few mins to get vitals checked after an hour and a half of waiting for an xray they check back and apparently I'm not even checked in , so how tf did they do my vitals and I'm not checked in , definitely NEVER coming back HERE WISH I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS

Horrible experience. These unqualified doctors do not give patients the choice to opt for a student doc or someone with more experience and left my relative in a worse position than she started!!

The current provider directory from my insurance company lists a surgeon at this location. I called and mentioned his name and Mindy stated, "He doesn't work here," and hung up on me.I called back and stated I didn't appreciate being hung up on, mentioned he was listed in my directory, and asked if he had never been there or if he was just no longer there. She answered that he had not been there in over two years.That's all I wanted to know. But it took being hung up on at first and getting voice mail the second time to find out that information.

Hold times OTP are ridiculous. An hour and still holding just to reschedule an appointment 🙄

Here again! Over 40 min and still no luck appointment at 1pm that's when they start and still not able to go in this is ridiculous 😒2 years agoHorrible waited 2 hours for vascular appointment

I had Hernia surgery on the 15th of September 2020 I am very grateful to the different doctor s and nurses that was there with me for my surgery.They went beyond duty .Keep it up staff .I am during fine after a surgery I needed for 3 years
