awesome care cant thank enough
Wasted my time by scheduling an appointment they do not even do, and not calling to let me know, they did not do it.
My wife and I had our very first child at this hospital and I could not have imagined having a better experience anywhere else. The nurses, doctors, and staff were like a group of angels to our new family. We are grateful for their attentive care and hospitality and will definitely have our second child there if possible. Big shout to all the ladies on the fourth floor. They are full of wisdom and love!
I took my mom who has dementia to this hospital as she was having an episode & from the beginning of our visit, i was deeply concerned by the manner in which she was treated. During triage the physician visibly appeared uncomfortable interacting with her and seemed reluctant to touch her. which left me with severe concerns that she may not have been treated with the same urgency, compassion or respect that patients who are White received. It was an extremely uncomfortable ER experience & we left without any medical assistance.
Recently I went in for kidney pain that I've been having for a month, as well as some other symptoms like dizzy spells, swelling feet, pale, hote flashes and i almost passed out 3 times. I was basically abandoned. I was left with an 8 out of 10 pain for 5 hours with no call button. A nurse who wasn't mine led me to my room and then another nurse came in and did the IV, I was told to give a urine sample even though I haven't been able to go cause again kidneys. I was given no fluids to help me go and it took about an hour and a half to finally go after getting the strength too. Then the sample was left sitting for two hours! My mom had to go tell a nurse it was ready, MY nurse finally came in, Took the sample and didn't even say anything to me or ask how I was doing. 1 hour later a lady comes by for a CT scan, she had to help me into a wheelchair cause I couldn't walk. When I got back my mom said she walked around amd saw majority of the nurses hanging out in a lounge room and some of the doctors sitting around on phones and napping. I was told by a completely different nurse, who by the way came in to give me nausea medicine cause the pain was so bad, that they were really busy, we never saw any patients besides 3 people that didnt include us, like what!! I recieved nothing for my pain, not even Tylenol, I was left for 5 hours and no one came once to check on me and then I was told everything was fine with me and then was prescribed birth control! I finally saw my nurse a second time for discharge papers, she came right in before the doctor fully left with those papers, kind of seemed liked the only thing they were fast with that day. I got to the car after hobbling out and I looked at my papers, it said i was diagnosed with endometriosis and a cyst on my right ovary, which would explain the pain on my front right side but I and my mom were completely shocked by the treatment of this facility, we've never faced anything like it before here! I was told to come back if symptoms or pain worsened, why would I come back?! Now I have about a 10k bill for basically nothing! Will not be coming back, I'd recieve better service at JPS oh and im still in pain and almost passed out AGAIN at work
Amazing care from the ED to nursing care on the floor. Staff was always attentive, and had my best well-being at the main priority. Definitely would recommend.
I visited this ER Monday morning due to excruciating pain. Despite the construction going on in the reception area, the service was surprisingly efficient and timely. However, the intake nurse tried to take my blood pressure through my very thick robe and I had to insist on removing my arm from my robe in order for her to accurately take my blood pressure. I was then taken to a room and was seen by a male nurse who took my information. I was then seen by a very kind and thorough female Doctor, Stephanie Fuller, who ordered medication and an MRI. The nurse, I didn't get his name, asked if I've ever been given Morphine. I replied that I couldn't remember. So, he then administered an injection of Morphine followed by two large muscle relaxant pills with water. Within a short time I was vomiting. Aside from the meds, I hadn't eaten anything since 6pm the evening beforehand. I dry heaved for what seemed an eternity until someone came in and gave me an anti-nausea nausea pill under my tongue. I was later taken by Becca, the MRI Technician, who was extremely helpful! She had to physically help me onto and off of the table. She made certain that my arms were in a comfortable position and had the music of my choice piped into the headphones. She very kindly made certain that I understood the instructions. Afterwards I was returned to a room and an RN, Hailey, came in with anti-nausea meds administered via IV with fluids. Hailey was extremely efficienct and skilled at inserting the IV needle! (I'm a hard stick). Thank you Hailey. Also thank you Becca for impeccable service! Altogether, I was there for five hours.
Horrible experience. Will never return here even if Im bleeding out.
Here at Texas Health Harris (Alliance) Hospital, Emergency Room visit (middle son woke with what he termed was something that in my eye with a lot of pain. Upon arrival we were greeted by reception and waited only a short time before being called back to the triage area, and then put in a room for the doctor to examine him. The doctor, like the rest of the staff here at Texas Health Alliance was wonderful. They examine my son and made their diagnosis and got him taken care of. I honestly don't know why this hospital has any less than 4 stars, because to me over the 13 years that I have been coming here, it has always been a 5 star experience and today was no different. If you need a trusted hospital in North Texas, give them a try / chance. I can't promise you won't have to wait, because that varies, but the staff actually care about you here! In this day and age, that is pretty exceptional. Thank you Dr. Fuller!
I should have written this review sooner, but I was trying to extend grace and patience. My most recent visit was the last straw. I arrived with a blood pressure of 140/104, systemic chills, and severe pelvic pain. I informed the staff that I had a current bacterial infection and was on antibiotics that were not working, yet the doctor spent almost no time evaluating me. Aside from briefly pressing on my abdomen for a few seconds, there was no meaningful physical exam. My elevated blood pressure was dismissed as “just anxiety” from being in a hospital setting. As an autoimmune patient, I know my baseline. This was not anxiety. Throughout my five-hour stay, I reported significant pain, dizziness, nausea, and thirst, yet I was given no IV fluids, pain medication, or supportive care. I did not explicitly demand these interventions, but I clearly communicated my symptoms and distress. Only at the very end, as I was being discharged, was I given crackers and water. This felt like an afterthought after hours of neglect. Although the doctor performed little to no physical exam, she ordered multiple tests, and several results came back abnormal. These were barely discussed with me. I only learned the details by reviewing my chart afterward. She was unconcerned about my CT scan because it was “comparable to a 2017 scan.” I have had a child since 2017, and my anatomy and clinical history have changed significantly since then, so this comparison felt dismissive and inappropriate. The discharge paperwork contained inaccurate and misleading information. It listed “current pelvic bleeding,” which I explicitly told the doctor was not happening. This is something that would have been confirmed with a proper pelvic exam. I also have a documented history of pelvic inflammatory disease within the last six months, which should have warranted a more thorough evaluation. The paperwork also listed flu-like symptoms, yet no flu test was performed despite my symptoms intensifying. I tested positive for the flu 48 hours later. After I left, I called my OB/GYN’s on-call office in tears and was able to speak with my doctor. She reviewed my CT and explained that the fluid in my uterus indicated the infection was not improving and that I needed an additional week of antibiotics. This was not anxiety. It was a worsening infection that was missed and dismissed. This visit follows a previous incident in which my 4 year old daughter was transported by ambulance after being knocked unconscious in a fall and was sent to wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes rather than being taken directly to a room. I want to be clear that I absolutely love the doctors and other departments at this hospital. However, the emergency department is failing its patients. I have also been told by staff here that POTS is “99.9% anxiety,” and this visit reinforced a pattern of dismissing objective clinical data and patient reported symptoms. This ER is not safe for patients who rely on competent, evidence based care. To the administration, your 2-star Google rating is well earned. You are failing your patients.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
