My experience was extremely wonderful, I don't think that rude people are allowed to work at Harris Hospital. If there are rude people, we haven't met them because everyone is so nice

My nurse for preop was awesome and professional even though I don’t remember her name she got my appointment done so fast that I only wished I didn’t have to drive an hour for it. My nurse in the same day surgery area (Sue) was funny and awesome as well. She was dealing with what seemed to be a difficult patient next door and still was able to get me packaged up for the OR regardless. Only thing I would change: better instructions for pre op appointments, go to Justin tower and check in at desk. Or a map of where to go. A address does not help when a patient has never been in that very large hospital. There is a desk that does not have a sign for checking in only says Texas Health and it probably should have something. Patients should have a clear path to where they are going. Even subway sandwich shop has a clear route for ordering and pickup and even though it’s obvious, they understand that there are people that have never been there before and a simple sign eliminates any confusion on where to do what.
