EDIT: The one star review still stands. The service is atrocious, long hold times, transfer to voicemail. Then they tell me they have no calls from me. The Dr visit was fine after I jumped through hoops to reestablish my account. Trying to get my prescription or any question answered since is just an awful experience. ORIGINAL: I was referred here for a simple pre-surgical clearance and have a past history as a patient, but the staff refused to schedule me because it’s been over 8 years since my last visit. I’m self-insured and offered to pay in full upfront, yet they still wouldn’t see me. The front desk provided no real explanation or alternatives — just a flat “no.” No traditional insurance, no appointment. It’s frustrating that a clinic dealing with serious medical issues would make it so difficult for a patient with a valid referral and the ability to pay to get basic care.
Kourtney Russo is so rude and dismissive. I’d avoid this place if you can help it.
I cannot imagine a better team to help me fight cancer. From the friendly front desk, to the efficient blood lab to the best Oncologist, Dr Ahmad. Everyone has been caring, understanding and supportive. When I go for treatment, all the nurses I have had the pleasure of being with, have provided me with information I need, explained test results I didn't understand. They are all so kind and caring. I couldn't ask for a better cancer fight team to help me. Thank you!
Why did you drug test me without my knowledge? Is this court? Got a bill for completely unnecessary tests. You are an evil company with your focus on MONEYYYYYY
UNETHICAL!! They ran completely unnecessary tests on me without my knowledge. They ran a pregnancy test (and billed me) even though I have NO OVARIES. WHAT A SCAM!
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the current no-visitor policy that has been NEWLY enforced at your cancer clinic. As the caregiver and advocate for my mother, who is undergoing weekly cancer treatments, I find this policy not only unnecessary, but inhumane. Cancer drastically alters a person’s quality of life. For patients like my mother—who must already endure physical and emotional exhaustion, constant appointments, and the fear that comes with a life-threatening diagnosis—being forced to attend treatments alone adds to their burden. The isolation is cruel. This policy is especially distressing given the fact that many cancer patients are immunocompromised and must already live in isolation outside the clinic. Denying them the comfort and support of even one family member during treatment adds another level of suffering—one that could and should be prevented. In addition, many patients—especially those who are fatigued, overwhelmed, or experiencing side effects—may not have the strength to advocate for themselves or retain all the information shared during their visits. A single support person can be instrumental in helping them understand and navigate their care plan, ask questions, and feel emotionally supported. I urge you to immediately reconsider and revise this policy to allow at least one designated support person to accompany patients to their appointments. This change would be a humane and reasonable adjustment that reflects empathy, compassion, and respect for the dignity of those enduring the fight of their lives. If you, or any of the “Board” members who agreed on this policy took one step in a cancer patients shoes, you would NOT have agreed to enforce this. Instead NOBODY advocated on behalf of this patient population.

Been going 3 years, always a good experience.
I felt cared for and listened to by all of the staff and doctors. I highly recommend The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders for anyone that is diagnosed with a terrible disease. The staff is amazing!
Awful experience here. My primary care doctor referred me here to see Dr. Ross. My situation was complicated and my primary believed Dr.Ross thought outside the box. It could not have been farther from the truth. I had yet to finish filling out family history when Dr.Ross came in the room for my first meeting with him. He told me he knew what was wrong and was surprised my primary sent me to him with such a simple situation. I have had iron deficient anemia since I was 3 years old; however, I had gastric bypass surgery in 2002. He focused solely on the gastric bypass. I had been hospitalized with ferritin overload 5 years ago after my last treatment, requiring 24 iv bags of fluid in 4 days. I was short of breath and having chest pains. Update: after my horrendous experience with getting Dr.Ross’ prescribed treatment. I had a severe inflammatory response. I was in bed for several days with bone pain, especially my ribs. My gums swelled up, causing my teeth to loosen, one actually fell out. Two others wound up being extracted. I have permanent bridges, the ones that were natural were the ones I lost. Thank God for my primary care doctor who treated me. My veins where shot and so I couldn’t get iv steroid treatment. So, wound up getting steroid injected and 3 rounds of oral steroids. So, what did it cost me to have a “specialist” who refused to listen? Weeks of pain(during the holidays), 3 teeth, $3400 dental bill. I am currently making monthly payments to pay off the treatment as well as for my new removable partial. Don’t let this happen to you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
