He assisted in my wife’s cancer surgery, performed her gall bladder surgery, and did my hernia surgery.

My husband visited Dr. Crudup last week for the first time. He was referred by our primary physician for an outpatient surgery procedure. We were both very impressed by Dr. Crudup. He presented himself very friendly and professional as to be expected of a physician. What really stood out was how prepared he was BEFORE he stepped into the exam room. As senior citizens we have a lot of experience visiting doctors. Usually the doctor needs us to re-tell the whole story and history of everything after he steps in the room, even though they have our files from the primary and we've re-written it all down on their forms! Dr. Crudup had clearly read my husband's entire file, knew what meds he was on, all about a heart attack years ago and came prepared with a list of his own questions to clarify what he needed to know. It felt like he already knew my husband. This made our trust in him shoot up high on the trust-o-meter. We have full confidence in him as we approach the surgery.

Dr. Crudup is very knowledgeable and skilled. He is attentive and communicates clearly. He listens carefully and gives good information during office visits. I felt I was in good hands after our initial visit. At the hospital the surgery went well and healing was quick and uneventful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Crudup to anyone looking for a great surgeon.

I was recommended to Dr. Crudup for hernia surgery by my primary physician in whom I have great confidence. That confidence is now extended to her recommendations! I would not recommend Dr Crudup for surgery. I had a hiatal hernia and a redo of a previous Fundoplication in March of 2016. I have had so many post of complications. He made the Fundoplication too much tight and did Vagal nerve damage. I have no eosophogeal motility now. This causes severe swallowing problems. I still wake up at night with stomach pain and wretching. I am injured permanently. I have to have frequent EGD's to dilate and put Botox in the entrance and exit of my stomach. Beware!!!

I was scheduled for a gallbladder surgery with another surgeon, but my gallbladder jumped the gun and I could not wait the few days until my scheduled appointment. I presented at the Emergency Department and was fortunate that Dr. Crider was on call. He is an exceptional surgeon with a great bedside manner as well as a great sense of humor (which I appreciate), and I would recommend him to anyone. He took wonderful care of me and I had a successful surgery and an uneventful recovery. He's great!
