William Van Wyk's Online Review Report Card

I highly recommend Dr Van Wyk. He spent an inordinate amount of time diagnosing and explaining the details of my injured finger, he even sketched a very detailed drawing! He has a very caring approach and with his experience, has seen just about everything related to hand injuries. He also has a very efficient and professional staff which made my patient experience that much better. Thank you Dr Van Wyk and staff (especially Erica and Daniela)!

Dr Van Wyk is by the best hand/wrist surgeon in my opinion. His bedside manners are awesome. When the nurses and staff speak highly of him, that speaks volumes as well.

Awesome hand Doctor.ive had 2 trigger finger surgeries, went smooth

My my mother-in-law recommended Dr. Van Wyk to me. He has treated both of my in-laws and they spoke really highly of him. I finally got to find out what all of the fuss was about when I came to see him last year with a mysterious pain in my left wrist. THE OFFICE VISITS: Dr. Van Wyk's staff is great; they are on top of things, accommodating, and kind. He's a popular guy and takes a lot of patients, so expect to wait a while while you're there. It's worth the wait. The nurse with the A&M Face mask (I can't remember her name, sadly) is a hoot and a half! Dr. Van Wyk presented me with a few theories of a diagnosis and referred me out for an MRI to check out what was going on. I received my MRI results and I was diagnosed with a Ganglion Cyst. This particular one required surgery, so I took about a year to save up the money to receive the surgery (I wasn't making very much at the time, which is why it took so long). I note the time gap because I thought it was very sweet that he remembered me when I came back for my surgery consultation! THE SURGERY: The surgery was wonderful, he made sure that I knew what happened, what Post-Op instructions were, and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I was asleep for the whole process, so I assume he did a great job in the OR too. :D POST-OP: In my particular situation, I was sent home in a sling and a cotton bandage. The Post-Op instructions were clear and his staff followed up with me. It's been a few days since the surgery happened and I'm able to type this with both hands! I hope I don't have any more hand issues, but the second I do, I'm calling Dr. Van Wyk. Thank you, Dr. Van Wyk and team! 2 years of pain is finally over.

New patient, my first impression has been great. From setting the appointment to my visit everything went smoothly. He is a caring doctor and his office staff are informative and helpful.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Wyk, and all of the staff that surrounds him. I truly think I found one of the greatest gems in Fort Worth, and without a doubt had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a medical establishment visiting his office. Dr. Wyk is one of the kindest, most gentle and intelligent doctors I’ve ever met, and he treated me with so much care and compassion. His office staff was incredibly friendly and got me an appointment in record time, and he was able to turn a procedure I had previously feared into such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I can confidently say that he is the best at what he does and I could not give a higher recommendation for a surgeon of his kind. I would give 1000 stars if I could!

Dr. Wyk performed surgery on my grandmother’s and to help correct some damage done from RA. He did a fabulous job. She was very pleased with the outcome and plans to schedule another procedure for her other hand soon. He made her feel welcome and answered all of her questions throughly. She would definitely recommend him to other patients.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I was so impressed by Dr. Van Wyk and his amazing staff that I had to let everyone else know what a great place this is. I was recently diagnosed with trigger finger and decided to visit Dr. Van Wyk because the pain was becoming a constant nuisance in my life. From the very beginning I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism starting with his staff and following through all the way to the doctor. He took the time to answer all of my questions and doubts which made me feel both confident and comfortable that I was in very capable hands. We scheduled my surgery and it was performed with no complications the following week. It's been about two weeks since that and my hand has been healing perfectly with no complications. I’m even writing this review with the hand that the doctor operated on! Dr. Van Wyk is an excellent doctor and I thoroughly recommend him to anybody looking for help with hand or upper extremity impairments.

I was in his office for a second opinion, and he told me he wanted to clip the nerves in my wrist to help with my pain. I want my wrist fixed and functional not nerves killed to mask the problem. Maybe time to retire bud.

Dr. William j Van Who is a great Dr. His staff is very friendly. My Dr. Sivaraham referred me to him. She said he was and amazing Dr and he is.
