David Hendricks's Online Review Report Card

A little serious, but Very Professional. Answered my questions in a non-medical manner I could understand.

Dr. Hendricks did my cataract surgery approximately 12 years ago and both eyes did great. A couple of weeks ago he did another procedure and it went beautifully! I’ve recommended him to several friends over the years, as I feel he is one of the best ophthalmologists in The Fort Woth area.

It's hard to tell from the short time spent during an appointment, but Dr. Hendricks is definitely not a people person. He comes across as rude and very arrogant. He can see you in the exam room one minute and in less than five minutes later see you in the lobby or parking lot and act as if he's never met you before. It's very odd and uncomfortable. I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted anyone else at possibly using Dr. Hendricks to know you're just a number.

My husband is a bit older, 83 years, and was so happy with the work and expertise of Dr. David Hendrick's. From the moment we first met him, we knew we were hooked up with one of the best Opthamologist;s in Fort Worth. From the first surgery over 3 weeks ago, to the completion of the second this past week he is recovering so well and back to 100%. His sight is better than mine! Dr. Hendricks was recommended by my long term Ophthalmologist of 30 years. I recently had cataracts removed and got the Tecnis Multifocal Lenses. I am very happy with the results. My vision is great and I don't have to wear glasses anymore. Dr. Hendricks and his staff were very professional - answered all my questions and explained procedures well. The entire office experience was very organized - from pretesting before initially seeing Dr. Hendricks, to follow up after surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Hendricks!

Dr. Hendricks performed cataract surgery on and I could not be more happy. His facility and staff, including the Fort Worth Surgery Center, were courteous, efficient and professional. I got a second opinion from Dr Hendricks; another surgeon had recommended toric lenses due to astigmatism and Dr Hendricks said I did not have astigmatism and did not need the expensive toric lenses. I can now see 20/20 out of both eyes with standard Medicare lenses. I would not hesitate to recommend him to all

Just spent 1 hour 55 minutes waiting to see Dr Hendricks. Turns out he had 2 emergencies but why didn't his staff tell us Nd why were 2 other patients seen before us? I did hear them complain so I guess that's why they were seen before me. This is very BAD office procedure. I would like to think they will try to improve this but I'm not holding my breath. It has taken, on an average 1 1/2 hours to see him in the past. So just beware.

Dr David Hendricks did cataract surgery on both my eyes in the past few weeks. I was very pleased with both the surgical experience and the vision results from the first eye, and expected the same from the second surgery. I was not disappointed! Dr Hendricks is very precise and gives careful explanations of the process so the patient is clear about what is happening. His follow-up team, and the pre-opt teams were all well-trained, courteous, and efficient. My vision is so good now that I do not anticipate having to wear regular glasses again, which will be a new experience for me because I am now near 70 and have worn glasses since early high school!
