For all your Ophthalmology needs, Dr. Robert Warren is the best there is! I just had my 1 month post LASIK appt with Dr. Robert Warren. I am 20/15 in both eyes. Even better than 20/20! Dr. Warren's office: I found Dr. Warren after extensive research on Ophthalmologists that perform Lasik in the DFW area. I originally sent an appointment request via their website contact form. I was contacted quickly after by Cathy. She will be your main contact throughout the process. She was very accommodating and we were able to schedule the initial consult on that call. I informed her I was hoping to get the procedure done the same month if I was a candidate since I had a good amount in my HSA that I wanted to use. She gave me tentative surgery dates. She gives you very detailed instructions on how to prepare for the consult (removing contacts 3 days prior, etc..). Communication was done through text and it was so easy and convenient. Cathy is a dream to work with! Walking into the office for my consult was a breath of fresh air. You could tell everyone enjoyed working for Dr. Warren and were happy with their jobs. That is sadly very rare these days. There were a few different eye scans I had done prior to meeting Dr. Warren that gives him a full picture of your eye health. You will not need to have your eyes dilated. Dr. Warren:Upon meeting Dr. Warren, I could tell the reviews were true. He is kind and funny. His bedside manner is wonderful. You can tell he loves his profession and is very knowledgeable. They have the latest technology in their office. He was very thorough with what makes a good candidate for Lasik, what to expect during the procedure, after and long term. He answered all the questions I thought to ask prior to me asking. The Lasik Procedure: You will need a ride as your vision will be impaired post-surgery. Your ride is also able to watch the whole procedure from a viewing room. The procedure itself was so fast and easy. Dr. Warren performs LASIK on one patient at a time, which I liked. Dr. Warren will explain everything he does before he does it and as he does it so you're not surprised by anything. Best tip: STAY STILL AND FOCUS ON THE LIGHT! I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. After the procedure you are instructed to go home and rest to give your eyes the proper healing environment. You leave with very detailed instructions on what to expect, when to use the eye drops, etc. The next morning, I went back in for my first PO. At that time, my eyes were still slightly blurry and I just felt tired as I had never taken an Ambien before. I went ahead and went back home to rest instead of going into my office. Many people are able to go back to work the next day. For the first week, it felt like I had my contacts on and there was an eyelash trapped under it. It was very uncomfortable and scratchy, but I knew that it was temporary and all part of the healing process. At my one week post-op I was at 20/20 in both eyes. Dr. Warren explained the steroid drops cause the scratchy sensation and also cause a slight blur to your eyes so he expected my eyes would improve even further at my 1 month PO; he was right. Over the next few weeks the scratchy sensation got better and better until it was gone completely. I find I rarely need eye drops and actually have to remind myself to use them once or twice a day at minimum to encourage proper healing. During the initial healing when it felt like I was still wearing my contacts and had something trapped under it, I contemplated if I had made the right decision with getting LASIK or if I should've just endured the inconvenience of contacts and glasses. Now that I'm 1 month PO, I am so happy I went through with the procedure. It significantly improves your quality of life and there are things you'll find you get to experience where you haven't been able to before because you had to remove your glasses/contacts. I refer anyone I know to Dr. Warren because it was one of the best experiences I have ever had and I am so grateful he has given me the gift of perfect vision!

Dr.Warren is fantastic: cataract surgery was painless, very fast, amazing. Best Doctor, should be your first choice for cataract surgery. Dr Warren Is very confident that his surgery will have excellent results and it did! Two days and eyesight is restored to clarity. A funny, kind and handsome Doctor. Katy is a joy, she is very skilled at administering all the pre tests to access the condition of your eyes. Very interesting and pleasant experience 😊

OMG. this was the best decision I made. Dr. Warren and his staff are the best I have ever met. Cathy is who you speak to first. She will tell you everything you need to know without even asking. She sent me a list of hotels, places to eat and things around the area since she knew we were coming from out of town. When I booked my consultation I asked since I was driving 2.5 hours is there a way to do my surgery same day if I am a candidate? She said absolutely. The moment I walked into the office the front desk ladies made me feel so welcome. They talked to me and actually wanted to get to know me. I wasn't just a patient to them. Their customer service was top notch. I then finally got to meet Cathy in person and she told me all the things and was very upfront with everything. I then go thru part of the consultation and so far I passed two of three and then here comes Dr. Warren. He is one of the most outgoing, friendliest, down to earth Doctors ever. He knew I was nervous but he assured me I would be ok and he was RIGHT. I passed the third test and was told, congratulations you are a candidate. He talked me thru the whole procedure and talked thru the whole procedure to let me know what was happening. The procedure took a whole 10-15 mins. I went to the hotel, slept just like I was ordered to do. Next day I woke up and I could see. I went to my follow up and then I drove myself the 2.5 hours back home. My advice, if you are thinking about doing it, JUST DO IT. I waited over 15 yrs and finally just did it and if you are going to do it, go to Dr. Warren. You won't find anyone like him and his staff. I should know, I went to over 8 consultations.

Had Lasik done in October. No pain, no problems. I can see now without chasing glasses all over the house. Could not have been a better experience. Thank you Dr. Warren and Cathy!

Dr Warren is the best ophthalmologist I have ever been to he removed my Cataracs and put in lenses that made me able to see 20/15

Dr. Warren is fabulous! I had my surgery a few months ago after putting it off for over a year dude to being petrified that it would be painful. The whole procedure was a breeze with no pain, even when I went home just a little uncomfortable the first day. I would highly recommend Dr. Warren and his very competent team, now my vision is better than 20/20! Thank you Dr. Warren!

Staff was great and very nice and the best thing of all I can see when I wake up! No more glasses or contacts to watch TV or drive. Can't blame google maps for not telling me where to turn now that I can read street signs.
