Dr. Pluenneke has cared for my vision for about 15 years now, and with every exam and treatment I'm so very highly impressed with the detailed care she and her staff offer. Everyone is quite personable and knowledgeable. The clinic environment is very inviting and welcoming. Dr. Pluenneke herself is probably the very best ophthalmologist I've ever had the privilege to be associated with. Her extensive experience, medical awareness, and warm manner create the calibre of doctor/patient confidence her patients enjoy.

My distance vision post-cataract surgery, even without glasses was dramatically improved over what it had been pre-surgery with glasses. Now that I have my new glasses my vision is better than I ever remember it, even when I was much younger. I can't sing Dr. Pluenneke's praise loud enough. My praise also extends to Hill Country Memorial hospital in Fredericksburg, where she performs her surgery. If I have to go back to the hospital I hope it's Hill Country.

I Waited about 45 minutes for the doctor after eye drops and testing by the tech. The consult and exam was extremely rushed. She did not ask me the reason for my visit but rather just repeated to me what I had told the receptionist. I could hardly get a word in to explain the reason for my visit and when I tried she interrupted and just kept on talking - very fast. She was not interested in LISTENING to my concerns. I will not be back and I would not recommend this dr. To anyone.
