Dr. Clegg is an outstanding dermatologist, truly an expert in her field. As a patient of Dr. Clegg’s for many years, I can attest that she always goes out of her way to take time with her patients and considers her patient’s needs as her top priority. Dr Cynthia Clegg is OUTSTANDING. She is a perfectionist and has a tremendous bedside manner. Very meticulous. Very thorough. Soft spoken and kind. She has helped me clear up what was called an "allergic reaction to the sun" (8 years of this) which turned out to be full blow pre-cancer to clear skin; two ugly bouts of MRSA on my face!; and, squamous cell carcinoma removal. I had a terrible experience at Dr. Clegg's office in Fredericksburg. As caring of a doctor as Dr. Clegg is, her staff is rude and unprofessional. I was late 15 minutes late to my appointment. I apologized and explained it just took longer than I expected in the rain. She continued to berate me saying they had to stay on schedule. I was the second patient of the day. There were 3 cars in the parking lot, so I'm thinking it was the first patient, the rude receptionist and me. I doubt Dr. Clegg was even there yet. My last appointment I was on time and waited 45 minutes before being seen. My appointment took 5 minutes. There are plenty of dermatologists in this area. If you want a pleasant experience, choose someone else. Her office will treat you poorly, even though you are the customer. They don't mind making you wait, but boy, if you have issues, like torrential rain delaying you, get ready for verbal abuse! They are terse on the phone too. It is really unfortunate for Dr. Clegg. Dr. Clegg's staff is highly discourteous. I was 15 minutes late to an appointment this morning at 7:15, which I felt terrible about. It was raining and it took me much longer to get there than I anticipated. One the way, Basse Lane was closed because of high water, so I had to take another road through town. It just wasn't my day and yes, I was late. I apologized when I got there. The receptionist berated me, said she didn't know if they could see me (when my appt would have taken 5 minutes). The last time I was there for same issue, I waited for 45 minutes, was seen in 5 minutes. I never complained. It happens. This kind of treatment is uncalled for. It wasn't ideal that I was late, but staff should never treat patients like I was treated this morning. Dr. Clegg just lost the easiest $75 she could have made all day, and she lost me as a patient. I cannot recommend her. Just call her office and see for yourself. There are other derms in this town whose staff treat patients much better.

I take my son to Dr. Clegg for treatment of Mulloscum. She's very kind & patient with treating him (since my son is 3 & has to have painful treatments). The office is very clean and staff is very friendly! I would recommend her in a heart beat!

Dr. Clegg has always been professional and conveys my diagnosis acuratly and explains anything I need to follow up on or extra care I need to take with that diagnosis. I have always found it easy to make an appointment, and do not wait long to see her, even though I usually arrive early. She is a good Doctor and I recomend her to anyone who asks about a Dermatologist.
