This so called "Doctor" is nothing but rude! Always making my mother-in-law fell fat and telling her to lose weight! You can hear him running his mouth about patients! If he doesn't like why he does why not quit? He's also horrible to have in the ER in Fredericksburg! Someone who will not fully examine you! Just ask you questions and gives you a diagnosis. What a joke

I trust Dr. David Cantu and his nurses, Verna and Apryl, with my health and well being. It is a difficult challenge finding physicians and medical staff that are attentive, patient and compassionate. So, when you come across the Cantu’s and Vernas and April’s in this world, latch on!

Dr. Cantu & his staff are the most friendly and professional I have ever had. I have seen dozens of doctors for my condition and this is the only one that has made progress. I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon. He and his crew actually care about the patients. He is open-minded and if he doesn't have the answer, he will find it. I have never had a problem with him. I actually look forward to my visits with him, others I dread seeing due to my chronic condition. He keeps a clean clinic as well

First time visit and had set and appointment 3 weeks ago for 3pm today. Staff was stuffy and not friendly at all. Finally my wife and I sat in the exam room for almost two hours. I was never even seen by the doctor. They wanted to charge me the co-pay until I told them there was no way I'm paying for this lack of professional treatment. They didn't even offer an apology of any kind at all. It's a doctors office and I fully understand that my appointment may be delayed for others ahead but when we get bypassed by others and no respect was given to us in any way shape or form that is unacceptable.

Dr. Cantu is very professional and knowledgeable. He's been my family doctor for several years. I've always had very positive experiences with the staff and quick response time on appointments when I was ill.

Had a problem with Dr.'s head nurse. I was taking a class 1 narcotic, which required Rx each month. I called 24-48 hours ahead to pick up the Rx, which did not require consultation with the Dr. Rx was never ready when I arrived, and ended up sitting in his waiting room for 30-60 minutes each time, just to pick up Rx. I confronted the nurse, she must have said something to Dr. Cantu. Received a letter telling me I was dropped from his practice without giving me a chance to give my side. Good!
