Initially, I was nervous about seeing an orthopedic surgeon to discuss an impending hip replacement surgery. I can honestly say that upon meeting Dr. Edeen, all of my fears vanished in a breath of fresh air. I was pleasantly surprised by his down-to-earth approach and candor. I felt he really cared about me as an individual, which reminded me of my experience with my own recently retired Dr. Robert Shaw, who has been my doctor for the last 50 years. Trust me; there can be no higher praise than this comparison. I actually look forward to my upcoming surgery . I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will be in the very capable hands of Dr. Richard (Richie) Edeen.

Dr. Edeen effected a referral to a specialized orthopedist who has recommended not only a temporary, commercial foot support but also a lab which will produce a custom-fit foot support.

Beyond pleased with the care and attention Dr. Edeen gave to my son; from our Saturday morning visit at the Sports Clinic to seeing him in office. He was not only thorough, but explained everything in great detail. Truly a doctor that cares about his patients well-being, and wants them to be informed. In addition, the entire staff at the office was welcoming and friendly. If my family ever needs orthopedic care in the future, Dr. Edeen will be our first call.
