List of Ryan Jennings's Reviews
Dr. Jennings is a great doctor. Exactly what my family has been wanting in a PCP. Dr. Jennings is very caring, compassionate, kind hearted with and a good sense of humor and personality. He is a very down to earth doctor. However, the entire staff at Village Medical is a complete disaster. My family has experienced complete unprofessionalism and disrespect from the office staff. My portal has never worked. Says; "Coming Soon" for a year. The front desks recommendation was to delete the portal (twice) and change the password three times. Still doesn't work. The front desks attitude; "I don't know." If the office staff doesn't know how to work the portal, then how do they expect the patient's to understand it or use it? The patient's are only allowed 30 minutes for their appointment. Regardless of the medical situation, you are only allowed 30 minutes. I had an appointment that took 40 minutes and was given major sarcasm and attitude by the office staff. They wanted to know why. It's called "Doctor - Patient Confidentiality" Although, one time, I had an 8am appointment, and Dr. Jennings arrived at the office 40 minutes late. But that was ok because I had to wait on him. They canceled one of my family members' appointments four times in a row. Granted, Dr. Jennings had the flu the first time. The next two appointments they canceled 10 minutes before the office closed for the following days appointment. The last appointment they canceled as my family member was walking out the door to the appointment. They pre-paid through the pre-checkin, and when asked about getting reimbursed for "services not rendered," they hung up on them. My family member had to go to the bank and dispute the charge. After speaking with Dr. Jennings regarding these mysterious cancelations, yes, he was available on all three appointments. Even Dr. Jennings doesn't know why the appointments were canceled. Village Medical charges our insurance companies, and my family pays a co-pay so we can be treated with utter disregard. Bottomline, they are supposed to serve the patient's needs with professionalism and with a polite and curtious bedside manner. Let me state very clearly that I can state how a patient should be treated as there is 60 years of medical experience in my family. Sadly, for Dr. Jennings, 2 of my family members have decided never to come back due to the office staff. Unfortunately, the rest of the family dreads their appointments due to the office staff. My family feels defensive before walking into the office as they know what to expect. I sincerely wish to be contacted by someone of intellect from Village Medical who actually cares about how my family has been treated.
He’s the best! He really listens and cares about his patients. We couldn’t ask for a better doctor.
absolutely the most unprofessional doctor
Best Doctor ever! Down the earth and takes to you like a normal person. He left the practice in Alvin. I'm trying to find out where he is at now.
This has been my dr for years till now. Tried making appointment for something serious that cant be done through a virtual appointment and that is the only way they will see me is virtual. That in no way is going to help my problem. Covid is not an excuse not to open. Everything is open but a simple dr. Apt cant be made. Guess it's time to find a new dr. who takes my insurance. Showes how much you care about your patients.
He’s great and explains things and doesn’t just treat you like a number. He has excellent bedside manner and listens to you . He’s an all around wonderful doctor .
I had an appointment with Dr. Ryan Jennings at Memorial Hermann Alvin and I arrived 15 minutes late which was within the 15 min grace period allowed by Memorial Hermann and he cancelled my appointment. My appointment was urgent and he did not care. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM. This behavior is not professional. The waiting room was empty when I arrived.
I had an appointment with Dr. Ryan Jennings at Memorial Hermann in Alvin. I arrived 15 minutes late to the clinic and even though I urgently needed to be seen and the grace period for Memorial Hermann is 15 minutes, he cancelled my appointment without any explanations. When I arrived, there was no one in the waiting room so he was not even busy. This doctor is very unprofessional. Since I have been to Memorial Hermann, I have never met a doctor as rude as him. I guess he does not care if Memorial Hermann loses money when he cancels patients' appointments. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!
He is the first doctor in many years that understands me and listens.
He's the best doctor ever. He cares so much and makes you feel important like if you were his only appointmwnt for the day or a friend. I never want to move from Alvin just because he works here. I have stayed with a doctor even with them relocating thwir office because of their wonder work and Dr. Jennings would be one of those doctors. Best primary doctor I or any of my family has had.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
