I was lied to by Martha Chavez about how long the process for getting approved by my insurance was taking. Martha Chavez made up a bunch of lies about how “its never taken this long before” and how she was “calling every day” when the truth is she submitted it late and put the wrong date for the surgery on the forms and then lied about this being the normal procedure. I was informed by my insurance that submitting approval forms with wrong dates is not acceptable and requires to resend the forms over again. Furthermore the wrong hospital was also used. I had to call the insurer and find out what was going on and was told that all the trouble I was having was Martha Chavez fault. Furthermore, I received a phone call from an anesthesiologist who was scheduled for this "fake date" that is normal procedure. I mean what? Its normal procedure to actually schedule the surgery for a fake date that's supposedly just used for insurance purposes? Carole, Martha Chavez, and Dr. Stiles all lied about me paying a down payment/deposit for the cosmetic breast reduction surgery when I did not pay it. They used this as an excuse for why I was scheduled at the wrong hospital for my surgery. To try and gaslight me and make me feel as if this was my fault. It was not. They massively screwed up and then tried to cover it up by making up a lie and making me look like and feel like an idiot. They tried to make it seem as if it was my fault that the dates for my surgery were messed up. Furthermore, I am no longer sure if its actually true that I needed to wait 6 months after stopping birth control to have breast reduction surgery; was this another lie? And then during my last meeting while Martha Chavez and Carole were making up these lies, Dr. Stiles was very cold and uncaring and tried making me feel like I am incompetent and can’t figure out the process. They did not try to help me at all. Can they even call themselves a doctors office when they do nothing but make people feel worse and lie to them about their healthcare? I don’t even want to go back to my primary care physician because they are the ones who recommended Dr. Stiles to me. I have been deeply deeply hurt by these interactions, more than anyone could ever know. I felt hopeless. I found out that this surgery exists and that it was something I could get and then had it ripped it away from me by people who treated me like dirt, like I don’t matter. I matter! I rarely leave the house because I am so insecure about my breasts and due to this insecurity I have never dated and I don’t have friends because I can’t go out anywhere because I live in baggy clothes. I don’t want anyone to look at me. The thought of soon being free from my disgusting breasts was the only thing keeping me going and then they took that away from me. I already distrusted doctors and this was just the nail in the coffin for me of ever going to the Doctor again.
Martha Chavez, Carole, And Dr. Stiles are liars and snakes. Martha Chavez lied to me about how long the process for getting approved by my insurance was taking and made up a bunch of lies about how “its never taken this long before” and how she was “calling every day” when the truth is she screwed something up or forgot. I know this because when she was having all this “trouble” I was able to call the insurer and find out immediately the status of my approval request or whatever it is called. The insurer right that second on the phone told me what was going on. There was also a complete and total massive screw up regarding my surgery date. Martha Chavez lied about me paying the down payment/deposit for the cosmetic version of the breast reduction surgery. I did not pay it because I was going through insurance first to see if they would pay for it. I suspect that Martha Chavez massively screwed up and then tried to cover it up by making up that lie and making me look like an idiot. Martha Chavez tried to make it seem as if it was my fault that the dates for my surgery were messed up. When Martha Chavez sent the wrong date to the insurer. AND THEN Carole scheduled me for the right date at the wrong hospital. Furthermore, I am no longer sure if its actually true that I needed to wait 6 months after stopping birth control to have breast reduction surgery. Was this ANOTHER LIE? Dr. Stiles is very cold and uncaring. She ignored me and tried to make me feel like I am stupid and incompetent in another attempt to cover up THEIR MISTAKES and make me feel as if this was all my fault. I would not recommend Dr. Stiles or her office assistants Carole and Martha Chavez to my worst enemy. I hope these horrendous women get what they deserve: to go bankrupt and out of business. I urge you to look elsewhere for a doctor as no one deserves to be lied to and treated like less than nothing. People go to the doctor and they are vulnerable. Look out for yourself because Dr. Stiles and her team certainly won't!
I had a tummy tuck done. I am so glad I did. I lost a ton of weight. I had not worn shorts or shopped for clothes in over 15 years. I was so excited to clean out my closet and get rid of my elastic waisted jeans. I love to shop for clothes now! Dr. Stiles and her staff are absolutely amazing. They truly care about their patients. Everything was explained to me very thoroughly. They were always happy to answer any questions or address any concerns I had. It has been a year, and I would go back and do it all over again! I saw dr stiles 12 years ago for a braaat augmentation. And was so extremely happy with my results! I decided to switch the implants out after having two kids and losing weight. I didn’t think it could get any better but she did! They looks amazing, the quality of cre and time spent with me was so valuable. Dr stiles personally called and text me the weekend after my surgery to check in on me. On her only few days off she takes time out to reach out to her patients. She is one of a kind. She is also a perfectionist and I’m sure we can all agree that’s a great quality with plastics and cosmetics. Her staff are always so helpful too.ovjng appointments around, getting me in the day before thanksgiving even after their office was supposed to be closing early just so I could be comfortable and enjoy my thanksgiving without having my drains in! I could go on and on....
I truly could not be happier with the result of my surgery with Dr. Stiles. From the consultation to the follow up visits she and her staff were attentive, kind and professional. My results were exactly what I wanted and I felt listened too. I have even referred my mom to her office for facial injections and she loves her results too! I would recommend her to anyone interested in a cosmetic procedure.
Dr. Stiles arrived 2 hours late for my surgery procedure! I was prepped and her anesthesiologist and OR team had no idea where she was and she wasn't responding to their calls/messages. Stressed, furious and frustrated, I asked the nurse to remove the IV and assist me in checking out. Instead, she summoned the anesthesiologist and he told me this was out of character that he'd called, texted and she hadn't responded to him or the OR crew. He reassured me she would be arriving shortly and asked if he could give me something to take the edge off given my stress level with the situation. After medicating me, he returned to say she'd finally called and would be there within 30 minutes....needless to say, 30 minutes was 2 .5 hours later. My response to her was I needed to know that her mindset was focused on me as a priority and I wanted reassurance she could/would be able to give me the best possible service. Her response was yes . She said her delay was she attended her daughter's school program and stopped to see another patient and the events lasted longer then expected. My surgery was scheduled for 8:30, this incident alone demonstrates her commitment to her patient. After surgery, I awoke with excruciating pain in my right arm, given she was late starting, my procedure wasn't over until 7pm, at which time, I didn't see her again until the next afternoon. She didn't stay to see me out or recovery nor visit with my family to tell them how it went, explain the recovery process or advise when she would be back. Through out the night, next morning and mid-day, the hospital staff nurses and doctor on staff continued telling me they had been and were calling her to get direction to change my medication or take escalated steps due to my arm situation worsening. When I saw her again, her response was , "Wow" there's definitely something going on here. I'm dealing with ongoing issues with my arm. Based on my experience I don't endorse or recommend her to anyone given her lack of compassion, customer care, follow-up , communication skills, unprofessional conduct treating her team, patients or patient's family. This is definitely not a surgeon who caters to her clients, she gets paid for her surgical fees, does her part and it's up to you and whoever else if you're unsatisfied with the results, have post surgery complications or need further assistance . I've had various surgeries and I've never experienced anyone so disconnected with the entire wellness of their patient.
I went to Dr. Stiles based on a referral from a friend. She was lovely and felt comfortable with her approach. She understood as a woman I was always ample busted but wanted to be less so after children. We agreed on a reduction lift and an implant of 300 cc and after waking up she informed me that she sat me up from my tummy tuck and lift and SHE decided I would look better at 475 cc. I am a 150 lb, 5’6 woman. I was devastated but unfortunately with two children I could not go back into surgery. I am now eight years later the same weight and a size 34 G. Not your decision.
Excellent doctor, she performed surgery on my daughter, we are very happy
Dr. Stiles and her staff are great about getting you in to seal the deal. I went to her about 2 years ago and am very dissatisfied with my experience overall. The vectors imaging they used was not helpful at all in helping me choose my implant size. She only tried one size on me surgery date and unfortunately they were too small so it left me feeling like my breasts were still deflated and saggy. I had a nipple reduction and the results were very sloppy. She does not pay attention to detail otherwise I wouldn't have uneven nipples. At my pre-op appointments I specifically expressed my concerns about how my belly button would look after the tummy tuck and all she did was tell me it wouldn't look like what I didn't want it too. I gave it some time to heal before I judged the results but hated my belly button every day for 2.5 years!! It looked like a large thumbprint with a scar around it. I finally decided to get the belly button revised and an implant exchange with another plastic surgeon two weeks ago and couldn't be happier! His work was spot on. He's a perfectionist! My only regret was not finding him first. Now that I've had experience from two plastic surgeons, I feel I know that difference from an okay surgeon and a phenomenal one.
